Role Description The Underwriting Analyst plays an important role within the Underwriting Department. Underwriting Analysts collaborate with Underwriters and other staff to deliver mortgage recommendations to lenders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required; business, communications, or analytical-related field of study preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Organized and detail oriented. - Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. - Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibilities. - Self-motivated and solutions-oriented approach. Requirements - Experience in commercial real estate is strongly preferred. - 2+ years of professional experience with experience in underwriting/financial analytical capacity preferred.
