• Responsible for providing strategic and operational financial leadership for advancing the overall financial performance of Geisinger Health and its subsidiaries. • Executes roadmap to design, implement, train, and support all financial business intelligence and analytic tools required to achieve all financial and operational objectives. • Leads the development of service and product line profitability reporting. • Identifies opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and process improvements within the Geisinger Transformation program. • Develops metric and benchmark scorecards, trend and variance reports, and dashboards that meet Finance Partner and Operations Administrator needs. • Prepares external benchmarking submissions, quarterly reports, and distribution to system leaders. • Collaborates with Finance Partners to educate operations management on financial and productivity metrics and benchmarks.

The Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) and Scheduling Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an EVM and Scheduling intern. The internship will begin at the end of May following a twelve-week plan that includes training and projects pertaining to supporting all aspects of scheduling and EVM implementations. The selected candidate will work closely with the EVM and Scheduling COE, utilizing a variety of training, mentorships, and tools to complete a capstone project that ties together fundamental principles of both scheduling and earned value management. This is a great opportunity for a college student with a business or technical based education (e.g., finance, risk management, engineering, computer science) to gain experience in a broad range of functional areas and disciplines, including program management, scheduling, EVMS implementations and compliance. A successful candidate will: •Gain subject matter experience from senior level specialists and managers. •Complete tasks individually and/or as a team participant. •Seek guidance when needed but requires moderate guidance and direction •Follow established process documents and checklists and create additional ones with support of more experienced team members. Primary Responsibilities •A key role in supporting EVM and Scheduling across programs. •Document the specific changes needed to evolve the associated practices. •Provide this feedback to the tool, process or people owners of the associated solutions to aid in championing consistent practices and process improvement across the company. •Aid in incorporating these practices into our overall planning and scheduling practices as part of our effort to better align all EVM COE solutions. • Identifies, defines, and addresses problems which are not immediately evident but typically not complex. This is a remote role supporting a Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM Central Standard Time schedule. This position is primarily responsible for processing and assimilating customer data to support the movement of goods between international borders. Job Responsibilities: - Serves as the customer service liaison between the company and the customer(s) - Resolves problems (i.e. billing, tracking shipments) and handles customer concerns. Builds relationships with customers - Processes Customs and PGA (Participating Government Agency) entries for clearance of goods into the United States - Has experience specific to client submission requirements and clearance of specific commodities - Opens files, enters notes, information and document requests in corporate systems - Reviews commercial invoice for proper information - Reviews documentation or issues documents to meet government regulations and carrier regulations - Convert and verify shipment weight, volume and foreign currency - Sends information/document requests to company's employees, suppliers, service providers and/or U.S. government agencies as needed - Communicates with specific offices, departments, and teams on all issues affecting customs brokerage - Ensures compliance with regards to U.S. Government regulatory agencies such as FDA, EPA, USFWS, etc. - Coordinates shipping details with U.S. forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, agents, etc. - Maintains communication with customers, carriers and vendors - Coordinates shipments from airline, ocean piers and CFS (container freight station) to customer/consignee destination - Coordinates pick-ups and invoices files - Stays up-to-date on regulations, laws, guidelines and Deringer requirements.
