Benefits: - Competitive salary - Flexible schedule - Home office stipend - Paid time off About BCG Bernardo Consulting Group (BCG) specializes in designing and managing physical security projects for critical infrastructure clients — including industry-leading data center facilities across North America. We are recognized for our precision, technical depth, and ability to meet demanding project schedules. Our team includes security subject-matter experts, BIM professionals, project managers, and supporting roles — all working remotely across the U.S. As we continue to grow, we seek individuals who embrace technical challenges and are committed to continuous professional development. Role Description This full-time remote position supports BCG’s physical security design team by producing and maintaining high-quality BIM models and construction documentation. Working under the direction of our Production Manager, you will execute drawing updates, titleblock revisions, and model builds from markup redlines and email-based direction. You must be able to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively with internal teams. Key Responsibilities • Implement titleblock updates, drawing revisions, and documentation changes from markup redlines, PDF annotations, and email-forwarded direction — with minimal back-and-forth. • Create new Revit project models from reference projects, establishing proper view organization, worksets, shared coordinates, and linked file structure from the outset. • Audit and remediate existing Revit models that were built by multiple contributors over time — diagnosing issues such as bloated file sizes, workset conflicts, broken links, and inconsistent family standards, and resolving them without disrupting active project workflows. • Develop precise 2D/3D construction drawings and BIM models for physical security systems in data center and critical infrastructure environments. • Translate design concepts, sketches, and engineer markups into complete, coordinated technical drawings ready for construction. • Produce and publish construction documentation to project schedules in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. • Participate in design coordination meetings for clash detection and resolution with other trades. • Support information exchange processes between internal teams, external customers, and project platforms (BIM360/ACC). • Manage concurrent work across multiple active projects in various geographical locations. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of design/drafting experience. • Hands-on proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD — both are used daily; candidates must be competent in both, not just familiar. • Demonstrated ability to build a Revit model from scratch using a reference project as the starting basis, including proper setup of views, families, worksets, and linked files. • Experience diagnosing and working around common multi-drafter Revit model problems: corrupt families, workset mismanagement, overlapping elements, inconsistent annotation standards, and file performance degradation. • Experience with physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, perimeter security, secure zones, and intrusion detection. • Proficiency with BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Navisworks, and Bluebeam. • Familiarity with BIM Forum LOD Specification, AIA standards, and NBIMS collaboration best practices. • U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible for physical security clearance (client requirement). Preferred Qualifications • Design/drafting experience in physical security and/or telecom building systems for mission-critical or critical infrastructure facilities. • Experience developing custom Revit Family content for security hardware and devices. • Data center design and construction background. • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) credential. • Experience with Dynamo, RF Tools, CTC Tools, or Procore. • Construction observation experience; working knowledge of construction practices and technology. What BCG Offers BCG is committed to building a team where exceptional contributors are recognized and rewarded. We offer: | Competitive base salary above market | Profit-sharing & employee ownership track | ICHRA healthcare stipend (tax-free) | Professional development & training support | Accelerated PTO accrual | Home office stipend To apply, submit your resume, a brief portfolio or work samples, and a note on your Revit experience This is a remote position.
