Job Title: Marketing Manager, Anesthesia Reports To: Director of Marketing, Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring Location: Remote (Reporting into Columbia, MD) Job Description: Position Summary: The Marketing Manager will lead the downstream marketing efforts in North America for Ambu's Circuits & Masks portfolio in our Anesthesia franchise. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies and plans to build brand value, optimize sales, and ensure profitability of the product line while growing market share. This position is well suited for an energetic, analytical, high collaborative marketer with a proven skillset for driving growth in a competitive landscape, delivering on key objectives, and successfully launching/managing products within several markets at once. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Develop and execute on downstream product marketing strategies/plans for Ambu's Circuits & Masks portfolio that drive awareness, adoption, and enhanced value in the marketplace for the product lines in the acute care, ASC, critical care, and Anesthesia markets - Continuously monitor product line performance - including financial targets, key objective achievements, competitive landscape, and KPIs - and provide monthly business reviews to Director of Marketing - Develop ownership-level presence for the product portfolio with cross-functional downstream partners in marketing, sales, corporate accounts, finance, and others - Use business intelligence skills to evaluate market trends and develop segment penetration opportunities and targets to drive real time objective achievement - Analyze and develop optimal market positioning and pricing - Develop business cases for investment in Marketing activities and new product development - Establish market communication plan for product areas to ensure product and marketing messaging throughout all communication platforms - Manage Ambu's brand and ensure brand consistency in product design and Marketing communications, including trade shows - Develop sales support tools targeting all key stake holders for the product area - Develop KOL relationships, advisory boards, and communications with Societies and Associations - Collaborate with sales management to evaluate and validate effectiveness of Marketing strategies and programs - Evaluate the attractiveness of growth opportunities to expand the portfolio, improve business health, and strengthen overall market position - Evaluate product portfolio gaps and conduct customer, clinical, and market research to guide innovation projects and work with R&D through the development process - Develop education and training programs for sales force and end users, as needed - Plan and manage new product launches to achieve high-impact commercialization goals - Ensure that budget targets are being met - Provide input to supply chain for inventory forecasts - Present business status and key activity reports at routine marketing meetings and business reviews - Facilitate and coordinate collaboration across geographies and cross-functional teams to build internal support, report on business progress, and accomplish business goals and objectives - Up to 40% travel related to tradeshows/conferences and customer visits in conjunction with local representatives - Additional ad hoc duties, as needed Performance Criteria: - Develop product and market strategies to optimize sales and profitability of product lines, in accordance with Marketing plan - Execute market strategies to achieve product line revenue, contribution, and market share targets - Develop a clear positioning and pricing strategy - Provide efficient training and effective support tools to the sales team - Identify growth segments and opportunities - Develop and launch new products and solutions - Collaborate with Marketing team, cross-functional and multi-national team members - Conduct business and maintain relationships according to Ambu's standards and values Qualifications /Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Healthcare Marketing, preferably in Medical Devices - Experience in Anesthesia and/or adjacent Medical Devices highly preferred - Demonstrated strong work ethic and initiative - Proven ability to manage large workflow and multiple projects at one time - Effectively build and maintain relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels and with the executive team - Experience with design, evaluation, validation of marketing strategies and programs - Consistently and effectively brings ideas, proposals and business cases forward for consideration - Expertise with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel - Experience with new product development and launches - Analytical and budgetary experience - Strong ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems for business strategy - Experience supporting a direct sales force

Job Responsibilities - Responsible for site management oversight, clinical monitoring and central monitoring deliverables with a focus on patient safety, protocol/GCP/regulatory compliance and data integrity. - Oversees site interactions post activation through site closeout.
