Ficoso
• Establish Roadmap & Strategy: Manage the Product Roadmap for Ficoso and ensure that it aligns with our corporate strategy and supports our product vision. • Build a deep understanding of both our portal and API clients and distill information on market trends, industry developments, competitive landscape, and partner ecosystem to tailor our product strategy. • Prepare business cases and executive presentations to gain leadership buy-in on key initiatives and secure investment for larger projects. • Prioritize Product Backlog: Act as Product Owner on the agile scrum team and define backlog priorities and focus for each sprint. • Collaborate daily with the development team, sales, operations and marketing to build and release new product capabilities. • Ensure product requirements, acceptance criteria, and business purpose are clearly articulated with supportive design wireframes as needed. • Facilitate usability testing to ensure new features meet customer expectations. • Lead User-Driven Innovation: Lead continuous product discovery and assumption testing to uncover new opportunities and ensure product initiatives focus on solving the right problems. • Become the user advocate through in-depth customer discovery, client interviews, and user feedback loops. • Translate customer need and insight into innovative strategies that strengthen our differentiated customer value. • Explore AI-powered solutions that reduce the complexity of traditional processes and offer opportunities to automate user workflows for both our portal and API clients. • Spearhead Release Communication: Partner with marketing colleagues to establish effective go-to-market strategies and refine messaging for each customer segment. • Announce product updates internally and translate technical features into compelling product benefits for both technical and non-technical customer audiences. • Determine most effective communication channels and methods. • Optimize Data, Client, and Fulfillment Integrations: Work with jurisdictions and data providers nationwide, including Secretary of State offices, to review contracts and proactively keep up with relevant legislation and data acquisition opportunities. • Evaluate and pursue opportunities to optimize our API capabilities and integrated offerings for both partners and direct integrators. • Own and prioritize enhancements to our internal Ficoso-related applications that streamline order fulfillment.
Job Requirements
- Accomplished product manager with strong product sense and capacity to translate customer insight into technical requirements that drive innovation and strengthen differentiated value for customers.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and releasing software products, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- 2y+ as a product manager, senior product manager, associate product manager, or product owner.
- 5y+ of total relevant experience in product management, product marketing, design, engineering, business analytics, customer research, customer success, and/or business development.
- Bachelor's degree in business, design, engineering, or equivalent experience/certificates.
- MBA preferred.
- Prior experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Underwriting, risk management, compliance, legal services, public records such as UCC, financial or information services, loan origination systems, core banking systems, equipment financing, banking, or factoring.
- Proficient with essential software design and development concepts, APIs, and data management.
- Familiar with agile scrum methodology for software development and product lifecycle management.
- Self-starter with capacity to prioritize, lead, measure and optimize multiple simultaneous initiatives.
- Empathetic collaborator able to create cross-group alignment and engagement.
- Outstanding verbal, written and visual communicator.
- Experienced working with software integration partners, contractors and agencies.
- AI certifications or product certifications such as CPM, PMC, PSPO, CSPO or similar are a plus.
- Experience with LLMs and/or AI-powered solutions is a plus.
- Familiar with typical product management software such as Jira, Aha!, and analytics software.
- Thrives in a flexible remote work environment and able to collaborate mainly on PST time zone.
- Willing to travel a few times a year in the US for conferences, team meetings or customer visits.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- West Coast candidates preferred.
