Podean is looking for a Retail Inventory Planner to drive data-backed decisions across sales, inventory, and financial performance for key eRetail marketplaces like Walmart, Target, and Amazon. In this role, you’ll turn forecasts and performance insights into clear actions that improve revenue, optimize inventory flow, and reduce risk. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring products are available at the right time and in the right quantities, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to align plans, support execution, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth. What You’ll Do - Develop sales forecasts, analyze performance vs. targets, and recommend actions to maximize revenue and minimize losses. - Plan and control inventory levels to ensure optimal allocation and healthy stock turnover while avoiding overstock and stockouts. - Support shipment execution and replenishment coordination, ensuring the timely flow of inventory to fulfillment centers while managing case pack compliance and addressing excess or at-risk stock. - Prepare and analyze sales, inventory, and key KPI reports to generate actionable business insights. - Assist in budgeting and financial planning, tracking performance, and identifying risks and opportunities for profitability. - Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, operations, and marketing teams to align plans and execute campaigns effectively. What We’re Looking For - Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting clients on Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central; experience with Walmart or Target platforms is a plus - Familiarity with shipment processes, including shipment creation, label generation, and reconciliation - Basic understanding of inventory management, including maintaining optimal stock levels and avoiding stockouts or overstock - Ability to pull and analyze reporting data (e.g., replenishment reports) and support the end-to-end shipment process for clients - Proficient in using reporting and research tools such as Kapoq, Amazon Inventory Reports, Keepa, and Helium 10. - Experience in case management, with a proven process for working with support teams to resolve various issues - Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to follow established processes and guidelines - Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams (merchandising, operations, supply chain) as needed - Strong and reliable internet connection (at least 100 Mbps) - Must be willing to work U.S. business hours, including daytime shifts in EST or PST If you’re excited to apply your analytical mindset, planning expertise, and problem-solving skills to a growing global team, we’d love to hear from you.
