Our SelectLeaders client is looking for a National Operations Specialist (NOS) to join our team to provide on-site leadership and strategic direction across our portfolio of properties. The National Operations Specialist will be on-site at our properties in the event of a staff vacancy or additional training needs and will help accomplish the daily operations and sales and marketing plans for the property. A background in Student Housing, property management, or marketing and leasing is imperative to the success of this position. You will report to the Director, Training & Support. This position is remote with 75% travel. The salary range is $65K to $75K, plus an annual bonus. Responsibilities - Provide interim on-site leadership and strategic direction alongside Regional Managers during staffing transitions, ensuring operational continuity and performance stability - Lead, coach, and develop site teams including Property Managers, Assistant Managers, Leasing & Marketing Managers, Maintenance, and Community Assistants - Oversee full property operations including leasing performance, marketing execution, financial management, and resident experience to increase occupancy and revenue goals - Step into Property Manager responsibilities when needed, assisting with resident move-out, property turn, and move-in cycles - Analyze budgets and monthly financial statements to identify variances, accruals, and reclasses while maintaining fiscal accountability - Partner with revenue strategy by advising on pricing, concessions, and leasing tactics based on traffic, velocity, and conversion trends - Facilitate resident mediation and conflict resolution to maintain positive community culture and retention - Gain exposure to diverse operational models by traveling across 30+ markets nationwide, expanding business perspective and leadership experience Qualifications - Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable experience in the student housing space - 3+ years' experience as a Property Manager or equivalent role - Knowledge of the market competition, local businesses, and university - Excellent planning to manage a team - Communication with residents, team members, and senior management - Driven individual - True team player eager to help build the business - Eagerness to provide the best resident experience - Excellent project management - Exceptional customer service and resident relations - Desire to travel up to 75% - Live within 1 hour of a major airport $65,000 - $75,000 a year - Health (PPO or HSA), dental, and vision - Flexible PTO - 13 paid holidays - 401K – 100% match up to 5% - Annual review and bonus program - Paid parental leave

Work Remotely. Training schedule is Monday through Friday day shift preferred but with some flexibility. Training lasts approximately 6months. Pay Range $21.85 - $32.80 Major Responsibilities: - Answers inbound messages and calls and responds to customer needs in a high volume call center environment to service and retain customers. - Responds to complaints and resolves problems using established service recovery guidelines. Handles all escalated calls, attempting to resolve issues before they become escalated complaints. - Takes action, using appropriate discretion, to address customer needs, resolve issues, and provide outstanding customer service. Works with appropriate departments to resolve questions and or issues related to the patient portal, billing, release of information, and HIPAA patient change requests (amendments).
