Role Description The engineering world has fundamentally changed. The engineers thriving right now are the ones who recognized that shift early and leaned into it. You will be one of the people building it. This role comes with unlimited token usage, dedicated company budget for AI tooling and continuous learning, and the expectation that you will be leading how we build, not following a playbook someone else wrote. Our stack is Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and React. You will ship features that directly impact revenue and customer experience, own integrations with payment processors, data providers, and mailing APIs, and contribute to the technical foundation of a platform that is actively expanding. This is not a meeting-heavy role. You will be writing code, reviewing code, solving real problems, and seeing your work go live. If you need the structure of a large company this is not your spot. If you thrive when given real ownership, real problems, and the trust to figure things out, you will fit right in. Qualifications - 3+ years of professional experience building production applications in Ruby on Rails. - Strong product mindset, you do not need a PM to tell you what good looks like. - Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB. - Experience with RESTful API design and third-party integrations. - Comfort with front-end technologies including JavaScript and React. - Ability to take a feature from concept to production with minimal back and forth. - Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows. - AI-enabled development practices are a non-negotiable part of how we work. Requirements - Building and shipping new features on our Ruby on Rails platform. - Maintaining and improving existing codebase performance, reliability, and code quality. - Collaborating with product to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Working on integrations with third-party services including payment processors, data providers, and mailing APIs. - Contributing to architecture discussions and code reviews. - Writing tests, documentation, and owning production stability. • Deliver VMware Cloud Foundation implementations based on architect-provided design documentation • Deploying, configuring, validating, and operationalizing VCF environments • Maintaining close collaboration with architects, project managers, and customer technical teams • Ensuring that design intent is accurately realized in production • Providing practical feedback to improve designs, tooling, and delivery outcomes • Implement VMware Cloud Foundation environments in alignment with approved HLD and LLD documentation • Execute Day 0 and Day 1 activities, including host commissioning, domain deployment, and baseline configuration • Deploy and configure vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and VCF lifecycle components • Validate deployed platforms against architectural, operational, and performance expectations • Troubleshoot deployment and integration challenges in collaboration with architects and senior engineers • Document implementation outcomes, environmental findings, and operational considerations • Participate in customer readiness, validation, and knowledge-transfer activities • Provide feedback to architects on design assumptions, execution considerations, and lifecycle

• Leading the technical development and support for internal web applications supporting our Rating business • Designing and developing RestFul APIs and microservices that support front-end functionalities • Creating server-side logic using languages such as Java • Integrate back-end services with the UI layer • Managing databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and writing efficient queries • Implementing security and data protection measures • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps • Work closely with other stakeholders and participate in Sprint ceremonies to ensure the alignment with Agile methodologies.
