The Opportunity We're looking for a Data Manager to own the health, accuracy, and usability of data across our systems. This is a hands-on role at a growing startup where you'll be the go-to person for keeping our CRM (HubSpot) running cleanly, building automations that save the team hours of manual work, and delivering reporting that actually drives decisions. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership—so being comfortable juggling priorities from multiple stakeholders is a must. What matters most is that you're resourceful, curious, and quick to pick up new tools and techniques. What you'll do CRM Management, Reporting, and Data Hygiene (Primary – 50%) - Manage and maintain data integrity across HubSpot and connected platforms, ensuring records are clean, deduplicated, and up to date. - Build and optimize HubSpot workflows, sequences, and automations to streamline operations and reduce manual processes. - Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and recurring data pulls for stakeholders across sales, marketing, and leadership. - Develop and enforce data governance standards, including naming conventions, property management, and lifecycle stage definitions. - Audit and troubleshoot data issues proactively—catch problems before they compound. - Own integrations between HubSpot and other tools in the stack (e.g., Zapier, Segment, spreadsheets, or internal databases). - Support ad hoc data requests and analysis for cross-functional teams, translating raw data into clear, actionable insights. - Document processes, SOPs, and system configurations so the team isn't reliant on tribal knowledge. Who You Are - Approximately 5 years of professional experience in data management, CRM administration, reporting, or a closely related function. - Strong working knowledge of HubSpot (required)—including custom properties, workflows, lists, reports, and integrations. - Experience building business process automations and maintaining data hygiene across multiple platforms. - Proven track record working in a startup or high-growth environment where creativity and adaptability are essential. - Comfortable reporting to and communicating with multiple stakeholders who may have competing priorities. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail—you spot inconsistencies others miss. - A fast learner who is comfortable picking up new tools, platforms, and processes without extensive hand-holding. - Clear communicator who can translate data concepts for non-technical audiences. - Experience with in-app reporting tools and GSheets / Excel-Based Reporting Nice To Have - Experience with BI tools. - Competency with SQL and lightweight scripting (Python, Apps Script). - Experience with integrations and data mapping. - Background in B2B Compliance, SaaS or AI-centric technology startups.
