Tasks & Responsibilities: - Define and maintain the technical vision for assigned projects and stack practice. - Make architectural and technology stack decisions aligned with long-term strategy. - Enforce coding standards, best practices, and engineering excellence. - Manage technical debt – identify, prioritise, and oversee resolution. - People Management of up to 12 people. - Provide direct line management for developers: 1:1s, performance reviews, career planning, salary input. - Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. - Participate in recruitment and ensure effective onboarding for new hires. - Support presales processes with technical expertise, including high-level designs, architecture proposals, and highlighting potential risks and challenges. - Decompose business requirements into technical deliverables and support accurate estimations. - Promote innovation by monitoring trends and recommending relevant solutions. - Contribute to department-wide discussions on technologies and ways of working, providing input on efficiency, optimization, and best practices. - Strengthen client trust and satisfaction (NPS) by ensuring high technical quality and timely delivery.
