About the role • Title Asset Reliability Lead (multiple sites) • Lead Kerry’s Beverage Business Network asset reliability program • Reports to Business Network Director of Engineering • Provides dotted line support of business network maintenance teams. • Supports Kerry North America asset reliability initiatives Location/Travel • Support multi-site Beverage business network currently with sites in Seattle, WA; Byesville, OH; Owatonna, MN, and Ste Claire, Quebec. (could flex with additional sites as needed) • This role is preferred to be based out of one of the United States sites listed above but could be remote with the right candidate. • Candidate must be able to travel internationally between the United States and Canada as needed. • Travel will be approximately 50% or more as needed. Key responsibilities • Drive maintenance key performance indicators (KPI’s) – equipment downtime, preventive maintenance (PM), urgent work, labor hours recorded, cycle counting, etc. • Provide support to manufacturing sites to develop, optimize and implement industry maintenance standards such as PM programs, spare parts management, stock room management • Collaborate with sites to define asset criticality, critical spares, and reliability maintenance strategies • Develop networking and knowledge sharing opportunities within the business network and also with other Kerry maintenance groups. • Support analysis of equipment and systems failures, using problem solving and continuous improvement tools such as RCA and DMAIC • Support and develop site capability building with assessment and evaluation of site maintenance staff, training and knowledge transfer to site maintenance teams • Support growth of digital automation platforms (i.e. MaintainX, EPM SAC, Power BI) • Perform Reliability Projects and Project reliability engineering assistance? (i.e. Inventory, ALM reviews, PM library growth, WBS, URS, timeline reviews, identify and assist with site capacity needs and resource definition) • Provide interim support for key maintenance site roles (possible) • Learn and train all site roles within Kerry 1KPS playbook standards • Kerry 1KPS implementation of CMMS practices focused on engineering standards Qualifications and skills Required Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or similar) • Preferred CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or equivalent certification. • 10+ years of progressive experience in a maintenance leadership role and/or a reliability engineering role. • Food, consumer goods, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred • Comfortable working on the factory floor and as part of a decentralized regional team.
