QA Auditor/Inspector

Amentum

• Enforcing the Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with contractual specifications, policies, and procedures. • Conducting quality audits, inspections, and reviews during daily operations to evaluate the quality of work performed. • Monitoring and documenting all work activities during the Government’s regular working hours to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. • Coordinating directly with the Quality Manager and ensuring independence from the Project Manager for reporting and oversight duties. • Performing inspections of completed and ongoing work to confirm that it meets all specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards. • Ensuring personnel carrying out inspections have the technical expertise and knowledge required for the work being inspected. • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of inspections, audits, and findings, and preparing reports for submission to the Quality Manager. • Ensuring compliance with documented quality processes, safety protocols, and relevant regulations. • Collaborating with personnel to identify and address nonconformities, develop corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of quality issues. • Participating in training and development initiatives to keep up-to-date with industry best practices, technical methods, and QMS compliance standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or QA-related certifications are an advantage.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in enforcing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in environments similar to the scope and size of the project.
  • Demonstrated qualifications, technical knowledge, and experience requirements equal to or exceeding those of the personnel performing the work being inspected.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance/inspection processes and compliance systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections and quality audits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with teams, prepare detailed reports, and present findings.
  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance for the duration of deployment.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. 3+ years in HEDIS record collection and risk adjustment (coding) required.
