Job Description

Healthcare Partnerships Associate (Remote - South Florida)

Rula

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being. We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare. Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii. About the Role We are seeking a Healthcare Partnerships Associate who thrives in ambiguity and draws energy from building the relationships that drive our mission forward. In this role, you are directly responsible for the growth of “sold” providers and the subsequent patient demand and starts within your territory. This is a high-velocity, "boots-on-the-ground" sales position requiring you to be in the field at least three days per week. You will own the full sales cycle—leveraging provided lead lists to drive aggressive outbound sourcing, consulting, and closing providers. You will be responsible for all in-person selling and relationship management for accounts within a 2.5-hour radius of the Miami major metro area, while maintaining remote selling strategies for assigned accounts outside that immediate geography. Because of the heavy local travel requirements, candidates must reside in South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach counties) to be considered for this role. 1 in 5 people are suffering from a mental health issue, and fewer than 50% of people are getting help. We need professionals with a track record of overachievement in outbound healthcare sales or business development that are committed to solving this problem with us and hungry to face the hardships of a 0 to 1 environment. You will join a fast-growing team that has already grown 10x this past year, at the ground level. You’ll be given the opportunity to make an impact on issues that matter in the world while improving your entrepreneurial skills. This role includes a base salary plus uncapped variable pay. Your earnings are directly tied to performance, with unlimited upside and strong potential to exceed target earnings. Required Qualifications - 2+ years experience carrying a quota in outbound sales, account management, or business development serving the healthcare industry. - A proven track record of top 25% performance and exceeding annual quotas for >75% of your sales career. - 1+ years self-sourcing at least 50% of deals through outbound channels, including cold calling. - Currently residing in South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach). - Ability to be in the field at least 3 days per week within your designated geography and manage in-person selling within a 2.5-hour radius of your metro. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience managing customer relationships and complex deals in a CRM tool. Preferred Qualifications While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement. - Proficiency applying curiosity and experimentation to solve ambiguous problems. - Experience selling to a variety of personas in healthcare or health systems, from individual contributor users to executive decision makers. - Ability to build and scale repeatable processes for driving growth. - Experience selling at a startup and taking a business from 0 to 1. - Been promoted internally in previous sales role(s). - While we are a fully remote company, we are only considering candidates who reside in the South Florida area. We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive: - 100% remote work environment: Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii) - Attractive pay and benefits: Full transparency of pay ranges regardless of where you live in the United States - Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA - 401(k) plan access: Start saving for your future - Generous time-off policies: Including 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year for self-care (for most employees) - Paid parental leave: Available for all parents, including birthing, non-birthing, adopting, and fostering - Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Support for your mental and physical health - New hire home office stipend: Set up your workspace for success - Quarterly department stipend: Fund team-building activities or in-person gatherings - Wellness events and lunch & learns: Explore a variety of engaging topics - Community and employee resource groups: Participate in groups that celebrate employee identity and lived experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all Our team We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our mission of making mental healthcare work for everyone.
