• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end • Prepare and deliver financial statements, board reporting packages, and investor-grade financial reporting • Build and maintain the SaaS metrics layer, including ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and Rule of 40 • Apply and enforce authoritative US GAAP across complex areas • Manage multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency translation • Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and maintain strong internal controls • Lead multi-state sales tax compliance (SALT) • Oversee payroll accounting across multiple states and jurisdictions • Navigate international indirect tax compliance • Lead accounting across multiple geographies • Support M&A activity including financial due diligence • Drive ERP implementation and optimization • Explore and apply AI tools in work

• Oversee all accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, payroll, consolidations, GAAP reporting) across our business units. - Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls that meet GAAP, healthcare, and multiple business unit requirements. - Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with accuracy and timeliness across multiple business units. - Lead consolidations, intercompany transactions, and cost allocations across multiple business units. - Support ERP implementations and system upgrades to optimize workflows and enable scalable reporting. - Ensure GAAP compliance and readiness for audits, regulatory reviews, and investor diligence. - Build and mentor an accounting team with expertise in claims reconciliation, analytics revenue, and trust-banking operations. - Serve as the accounting function’s primary leader, aligning financial operations with corporate strategy across all business units.

• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Controller will be accountable for oversight of all corporate and project finance, accounting, and financial reporting activities. • As the leader of the Finance and Accounting team, the Controller is involved in supporting presentations to the Board of Finance Committee and works closely with executive and senior leadership. • The Controller will lead all day-to-day finance operations for an organization with a budget of approximately $35M and lead a team of 5-6 staff members, with 2 direct reports. • Finance operations include functional responsibility over project accounting and financial reporting and analysis, as well as corporate accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, corporate insurance, annual audit, budget, and treasury. • The Controller will ensure that MCD has the systems and procedures in place to support effective project implementation and have successful audits. • They will partner closely with project leaders and their staff, not only to train them regarding finance and accounting procedures but also to explore how the finance function can better support project operations.
