• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end-to-end • Prepare and deliver financial statements, board reporting packages, and investor-grade financial reporting • Build and maintain the SaaS metrics layer, including ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and Rule of 40 • Apply and enforce authoritative US GAAP across complex areas • Manage multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency translation • Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and maintain strong internal controls • Lead multi-state sales tax compliance (SALT) • Oversee payroll accounting across multiple states and jurisdictions • Navigate international indirect tax compliance • Lead accounting across multiple geographies • Support M&A activity including financial due diligence • Drive ERP implementation and optimization • Explore and apply AI tools in work

Job Requirements

  • CPA (required)
  • strong technical accounting foundation, ideally from Big 4 or a national firm
  • deep, authoritative knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 830, and consolidation standards
  • proven track record owning and improving close processes in a PE-backed environment
  • experience building board and investor reporting packages
  • experience with SaaS metrics layer (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40)
  • multi-entity and international accounting experience (Canada required; Europe, APAC, or LATAM preferred)
  • multi-state SALT compliance experience with tools like Anrok, Avalara, or TaxJar
  • experience supporting external audits and building internal controls
  • experience supporting M&A: financial due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration
  • experience with ERP and close management tools (Sage Intacct preferred; NetSuite valued)
  • comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
