Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Foreign Nationals Outreach Worker who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. The Outreach and Community Team work with service users with substance misuse, who are experiencing rough sleeping, or at risk of homelessness. We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic and proactive individual who can lead on engaging EU Nationals to work with services and achieve positive outcomes for those they are supporting. - Report to the Outreach and Community Team Leader within the outreach in Barnet. - Hold a caseload of EU Foreign Nationals who are experiencing rough sleeping and substance misuse issues. - Work in collaboration with internal teams and partner agencies to support service users with complex needs. - Engage with Foreign Nationals who are rough sleeping, sex working by participating in street-based outreach sessions. - Act as the main coordinator providing comprehensive assessments and Drug and Alcohol support. - Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referral. - Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community. - Provide advocacy for access to partnership services. - Complete planned outreach projects with partner agencies. - Support social (re)integration, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination. - Work with the Police, the Home Office, and anti-trafficking agencies when necessary. Qualifications - Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field. - Ability to communicate effectively with service users from at least two other EU member states (Czech, Slovakian, Lithuanian, Polish, Latvian, Hungarian, Romanian, Farsi). - Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills. - Knowledge of services available in various countries of origin. - Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills. - Understanding of information governance processes. - Seek out learning opportunities to improve professional knowledge and skills. - Experience of working with people who have been trafficked or victims of modern-day slavery. Requirements - Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week (including weekend and evening work). - Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 pro rata. - Allowance: Outer London Weighting of £2,195.72 pro rata. - Contract: Fixed term role ending on 31st March 2027. - This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship; applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Position Overview MetroSys is seeking a highly experienced Storage Solutions Architect to lead enterprise-scale data migration and storage modernization initiatives. This role is heavily client-facing and focused on designing, leading, and executing complex migration programs across diverse storage environments, with a strong emphasis on NAS and unstructured data platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and technical leader who can engage at the executive and engineering levels, architect end-to-end solutions, and successfully deliver large-scale migration projects with minimal risk and disruption. Key Responsibilities - Lead large-scale storage migration programs from discovery through design, execution, and final validation, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives. - Serve as the primary client-facing architect, providing strategic guidance, setting expectations, and building trust with stakeholders across IT leadership and engineering teams. - Design and implement NAS-centric migration strategies across platforms such as NetApp, Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale, Unity, PowerStore, and similar solutions. - Assess existing storage environments (NAS, SAN, hybrid) and develop target-state architectures, migration roadmaps, and best practices. - Drive end-to-end migration execution, including data movement planning, cutover strategies, performance tuning, and risk mitigation. - Architect solutions for file services, multiprotocol access (NFS/SMB), and large unstructured data environments. - Provide leadership and oversight for cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and customer personnel. - Ensure data integrity, security, and performance throughout migration activities. - Act as a technical escalation point for complex multi-vendor storage environments. - Develop and deliver high-quality documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, and executive summaries. - Present solutions, progress updates, and outcomes to client stakeholders and leadership teams. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of enterprise storage engineering, consulting, or architecture experience. - Proven experience leading large-scale storage or data migration projects in enterprise environments. - Strong expertise in NAS technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale, Unity, PowerStore, etc.). - Deep understanding of file protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS) and unstructured data management. - Solid knowledge of SAN environments, including zoning, multipathing, and host/storage integration. - Experience designing and implementing multi-vendor storage solutions. - Demonstrated ability to operate in client-facing, advisory, or consulting roles. - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
