Radar Operations Engineer
LeoLabs
• Monitor and support the LeoLabs global radar network, ensuring radar availability, high-quality sensor data, and real-time situational awareness. • Take restorative action when anomalies arise and escalate issues quickly and accurately. • Detect and respond to potential physical and cyber threats affecting radar operations. • Help build the future of the ROC, including designing processes, developing playbooks, defining critical monitoring points, and identifying opportunities for automation and growth. • Support special operational events (e.g., LEOP) and assist with remote support for maintenance activities. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, software, and global radar operations.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in a STEM field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Experience in an operational environment such as a Network Operations Center (NOC), mission control, or similar
- Background in incident management, with the ability to triage and escalate anomalous activity
- Experience documenting and logging daily and off-nominal events
- Ability to perform metric analysis and correlate data to system behavior
- Experience creating or maintaining operations processes and procedures
- Ability to read/understand Python scripts and work confidently in a command-line interface
- General understanding of RF principles and modulation
- Willingness to work a flexible and variable schedule (24/7 operations)

The Director of Digital Transformation – Site Management Operations is the primary product lead responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions that directly support site-level clinical research operations. Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Operations Generalist to help build and run the internal systems that enable Arête Glacier Initiative to operate effectively and scale responsibly. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who is excited to learn quickly, take on a wide range of responsibilities, and grow alongside a rapidly evolving organization. The Operations Generalist will support and help manage core organizational processes across people operations, recruiting, finance operations, vendor coordination, and internal tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure where it doesn’t yet exist, is comfortable working independently, and is motivated by contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on addressing catastrophic sea-level rise. Climate change is destabilizing marine ice sheets, creating a risk of catastrophic sea-level rise over the next century. Arete Glacier Initiative is a new nonprofit initiative dedicated to understanding this risk and assessing the efficacy, safety, and feasibility of potential interventions to stabilize ice sheets.
