As a System Test Engineer Senior on an Enterprise Zero Trust Program for a DoW client, your responsibilities will include: - Review system requirements, security requirements, and design documentation to identify testable components and create traceability. - Defining test scope, identifying test cases, and establishing test methodologies. - Creating comprehensive testing documentation to ensure thorough and consistent testing. - Determining the most critical areas for testing and focus resources accordingly. - Execute system, integration, and end‑to‑end testing for cybersecurity-focused systems and services. - Document test results, maintain test evidence, and ensure compliance with internal and DoW testing standards. - Timely execution and reporting of test results are crucial for meeting project deadlines. - Document test results, maintain test evidence, and ensure compliance with internal and DoW testing standards. - Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers and engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in system testing, software testing, or integration testing in an enterprise or government environment. - 5+ years’ experience in the development and execution of test procedures and test scripts. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document test results and findings Required Skills/Knowledge: - Experience troubleshooting at the system level (hardware and software). - Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail). - Ability to read and interpret technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and security documentation. - Strong understanding of system, integration, and functional testing practices. - Active Secret Clearance. Desired Skills/Knowledge: - Experience with DoW acceptance testing requirements for complex systems. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles such as least privilege, continuous authentication, and micro-segmentation. - Bachelor’s degree. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
