• Perform multidisciplinary system assembly, including mechanical integration and complex electrical wiring, under the guidance of engineering teams. • Execute system bring-up activities, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems. • Lead and execute system-level validation activities, ensuring the fully integrated system meets multidisciplinary design and performance specifications. • Develop, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, verification and validation (V&V) protocols, and detailed test procedures. • Perform rigorous functional, environmental, and reliability validation tests on prototypes and early production units. • Troubleshoot system-level issues, investigate the root causes of multidisciplinary failures during validation, and collaborate with engineers to implement corrective actions. • Write comprehensive test summaries and validation reports, providing actionable data and insights to the engineering team. • Support engineers in refining prototype designs by identifying integration, manufacturability, wiring, and performance issues during build, bring-up, and validation phases. • Read and interpret complex multidisciplinary drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions to perform testing, troubleshooting, and assembly tasks. • Fabricate and/or assemble, integrate, and maintain test equipment and validation fixtures as required. • Travel regularly between local SIG SAUER INC. facilities and infrequently for other assignments. • Occasional international travel to train, test, or maintain systems. • Maintain a flexible approach to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and targets.
