Role Description This role is a key operational position responsible for coordinating technical modernization and service projects for vessels worldwide. The Technical Coordinator oversees the full logistics of projects, from initial proposal to delivery and installation, while ensuring seamless communication between technical teams, service engineers, vendors, and partners. This position involves planning, monitoring, and managing resources efficiently, maintaining compliance, and supporting sales follow-up. You will be instrumental in ensuring timely project execution, tracking orders and proposals in SAP, and coordinating travel and appointments for service engineers. The role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and enjoys collaborative problem-solving across teams. - Plan, organize, and coordinate elevator modernization and service projects from proposal through delivery and installation. - Manage and allocate resources, including service engineers and partners, ensuring optimal scheduling and project execution. - Monitor and track orders, equipment deliveries, and project timelines; maintain clear, accurate information in SAP and other systems. - Liaise with technical teams, vendors, customers, and partners to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow. - Assist in drafting proposals, preparing purchase orders, and performing follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders. - Coordinate international travel arrangements for service engineers, including visa processing and logistics planning. - Support the technical vetting and onboarding of partners, preparing reports and maintaining compliance documentation. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in technical coordination, procurement, service planning, or subcontractor management; experience in marine, elevator, electrical, or service industries preferred. - Basic technical knowledge for processing modernization quotes and orders. - Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, with high attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams, partners, and customers. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or home-based environment. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace productivity tools; English fluency required, additional languages a plus. - Ability to interpret service agreements, project scopes, and proposals accurately.
