Customer Support Technician II
Radiology Partners
• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment associated with new Data Center Cooling projects • Review work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams and related materials to determine tasks to be performed, tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair • Demonstrate experience in managing challenging jobs with the objective to mitigate the impact on customer’s building/experience while also minimizing the financial burden on the company • Consult with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance • Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor • May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years’ experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or similar electromechanical experience preferred
- Ability to travel ~85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty work
- Superior analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals
- Ability to stay on project through root cause analysis
- Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed internal and external customer expectations
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, ensuring job is completed correctly with outside technicians and ability to follow up on parts delivery
- Preferred Trade/technical school or certification a plus
- Product experience with industrial HVAC equipment or similar electromechanical products preferred
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Intermediate experience with commercial projects
- Building automation experience a plus

• Actively manage the Tier 2 and Tier 3 network support queue within PCORI’s Zendesk ITSM platform, taking ownership of assigned incidents and service requests. • Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network-related incidents, focusing on restoration of service within SLA targets. • Provide clear, consistent, and timely communication to PCORI stakeholders and within ticket logs throughout an incident's lifecycle. • Serve as the first point of engineering escalation, resolving a majority of incidents and escalating the most complex issues to the Lead Network & Cloud Engineer. • Execute planned maintenance activities, including firmware updates, patching, and configuration changes during approved maintenance windows. • Implement standard, pre-approved configuration changes during core business hours as requested. • Support the Lead Engineer in performing semi-annual architecture and capacity reviews by gathering performance data and operational metrics. • Participate in a shared on-call rotation to provide 24/7/365 response for all Priority 1 and Priority 2 infrastructure incidents. • Maintain meticulous documentation for all actions taken within Zendesk tickets, creating a clear audit trail for every incident and request.
• Manage and coordinate critical customer escalations in a global environment • Act as the single point of contact for high-severity incidents • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution • Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders during incidents • Track incident progress and ensure accountability across teams • Maintain incident documentation and reporting • Provide weekend or off-hours support when required
