Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will support the Operations and Solutions Delivery Support (OSDSS) to DHS ICE. The selected candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and telecommunications initiatives in a mission critical environment. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced federal setting. This position is remote Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead end to end project management activities across IT and telecommunications initiatives supporting DHS ICE OSDSS - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with program goals and customer expectations - Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations - Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing mitigation strategies and escalation when necessary - Coordinate cross functional teams including engineers, analysts, and external partners to ensure successful delivery - Track and report project performance, including status updates, milestones, and key performance indicators - Support budgeting activities including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting - Ensure compliance with federal standards, contract requirements, and program governance processes - Facilitate communication between stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or an Associates degree and 7 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalent and 9 years of experience. - Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS Public Trust. - 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within an IT environment - Proven experience managing technical or operational projects from initiation through completion - Experience with project planning, scheduling, and performance tracking tools - Strong understanding of requirements gathering, scope definition, and systems implementation - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - DHS Public Trust clearance or higher - Experience supporting DHS, ICE, or other federal government agencies - Familiarity with government contracting environments and compliance requirements - PMP or equivalent project management certification - Experience supporting telecommunications or infrastructure related projects Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
