Our Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various functional areas. Typically, employees in this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management. Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques. Make presentations to manage project updates, project cycle, and expected results. Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope. May manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations. Primary Responsibilities: - Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer - Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholders - Identify project duration, effort, sequence and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives - Develop/contribute to project budgets and forecasts, obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders - Apply project life cycle methodology and tools as you develop, document and implement project communication plans You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of project management or 5+ years of experience with software implementation in the healthcare industry - Experience with project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or related) - Experience managing projects of medium to large scope - Experience managing multiple projects at the same time (12-15 at various stages) - Experience managing project teams - Experience leading or participating in process improvement initiatives - Proven ability to facilitate meetings with all levels of project teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: - PMP Certification - 5+ years of experience in a project management role - Smartsheet experience - Experience working with global project teams - Proven knowledge of: - medical imaging implementations and workflows - databases and enterprise-class information systems - health care imaging - specifically Radiology and Cardiology - cloud-based systems - Demonstrated intermediate familiarity with interface standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM and others - Proven ability to work effectively under stressful situations, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism - Proven solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment - Proven ability to manage project risks *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $82,700 to $171,900 annually. • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion. • Work closely with the Lead Technical Project Manager to provide support as needed and communicate down to individual contributor level. • Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and adjust plans proactively to bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives. • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders. • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria. • Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project blockers. • Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, product, and business teams to align on goals and priorities. • Gather feedback after project completion and implement lessons learned to refine future project execution.

• Support the Lead Technical Project Manager by providing assistance as needed. • Oversee project execution by monitoring progress and managing dependencies. • Manage stakeholder communication by providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes. • Help establish project scope by collaborating with stakeholders on objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria. • Mitigate risks and resolve issues by identifying potential risks early and developing strategies. • Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate collaboration between development, QA, product, and business people. • Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback after project completion and implementing lessons learned.

• Knowledge and experience in overall Project Methodology in the creation of the project plans, defining schedules and managing budget limitations • Defines required roles and tasks, as well as standard PMI PMBOK project management activities • Develops weekly status reports and modifies schedules • Work with client team to manage and achieve program and project level goals • Explore and summarize health system data to provide insight for strategic decisions • Plans, manages, and coordinates project activities to ensure goals and objectives of multiple and large projects are accomplished within prescribed time-frame and funding parameters • Establishes timelines and ensures project deadlines are met • Maintains integrity and cost containment of projects • Plans, manages, and coordinates projects and ensures project initiatives and timelines are met • Liaise with service lines and technical teams to translate complex business and technology specifications into relatable concepts to expedite communications and project execution • Develops project initiation process by defining project scope, determining action items, assigning ownership, creating project timetables, and tracking execution and workflow; prepares, presents and distributes project status reports • Evaluates, plans, and monitors project implementation for clinical systems; manages project and project delivery teams, ensures deadlines are met, escalates issues for appropriate, timely resolution and adheres to standardized project management methodologies • Develops interdisciplinary project teams in coordination with clinical community to ensure deployment of systems; serves as liaison to project sponsors, project teams and stakeholders; works with internal, external groups to optimize success of project deployment • Communicates with user departments and project teams on project activities; confers with project staff and vendors to provide support and resolve problems; collaborates with clinical, financial and quality teams to define and develop metric goals • Partners with management to develop tools and metrics to evaluate performance of target initiatives; assists with planning monitoring criteria and methodology • Ensures availability of performance measurement data for review and analysis; evaluates and drives risk management process improvements, efficiencies and workflow enhancements • Partners with management, identifies end user education, training program and services; assists in the development and maintains department policies and procedures • Provides subject matter expert support in the development of clinical information systems and integration to improve the timely completion of projects • Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action • Recommends innovative ideas, processes, and/or procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems • Work with other members of the team to implement solutions to meet business operation needs • Performs related duties as required
