Bilingual Field Specialist, English-Spanish
CLEAResult
• Join our team as a Bilingual (English-Spanish) Field Specialist delivering residential home energy assessments and supporting energy efficiency program participation for customers primarily located in Clackamas County, Oregon. • Perform Home Energy Assessments & Support Program Delivery (~75%) • Conduct on-site residential home energy assessments, and work quality verifications including data collection and diagnostic testing • Communicate program information and next steps clearly to customers in English and Spanish (written and verbal) • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the assessment and provide clear handoff to program team for remainder of project lifecycle • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate energy efficiency upgrades • Coordinate with program team and contractors to support timely and compliant installation of measures • Act as local, on-site program and client representative, developing trusted relationships with customers. • Maintain strong ongoing communications with participating customers to assess their needs and to receive feedback on their experience with program participation. • Prepare deliverables for management and clients, report activity in the market and document interactions with stakeholders • Lead Outreach, Engagement & Customer Lead Generation (~25%) • Lead outreach efforts to increase awareness and participation in energy efficiency programs • Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, partners, and local stakeholders • Represent the program at community events, workshops, and outreach activities • Conduct targeted outreach to Spanish-speaking and underserved communities • Develop strategies for generating customer leads through partnerships and outreach activities • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach activity with program goals and participation targets
Job Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant work experience in home performance, energy efficiency, inspections, outreach, or other in-home customer-facing roles
- Knowledge of residential building systems, HVAC, and energy efficiency measures preferred
- BPI certification (or similar) preferred or ability to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field-based environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing program needs
- Reliable transportation required; frequent travel throughout Clackamas County
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support outreach and community events
- Ability to work in residential environments, including attics, crawlspaces, and variable field conditions
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (including THC) prior to hire
