Role Description The Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric care to incarcerated patients while supporting mental health and healthcare staff through clinical consultation. Requirements - Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and follow-up care while exercising independent medical judgment. - Monitor psychotropic medications for effectiveness and side effects and adjust treatment as clinically indicated. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership and care teams to ensure uniform psychiatric and mental health services. - Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and participate in required meetings, consultations, and on-call services. - Support referrals, transfers, crisis intervention, and clinical collaboration with mental health and medical staff. How you make a difference The State MAT Telehealth Medical Director provides leadership, oversight, and coordination for medication assisted treatment (MAT) services across all facilities in the program. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and daily operations of the MAT program, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care. The position collaborates closely with integrated medical, nursing, behavioral health, and security teams to support effective service delivery. This role oversees regulatory reporting, addresses unusual events, and ensures adherence to organizational mission and care standards. The Medical Director also guides program growth, clinical direction, and operational accountability across the state. Qualifications & Requirements Education - MD or DO with state licensure and DEA in states of operation. - Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Psychiatry. - Board Certification in Addiction Medicine preferred. The SUD Supervisor balances direct clinical involvement with leadership responsibilities to ensure consistent, coordinated care. Key Responsibilities - Provide evaluation, screening, and treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders, including individual and group counseling. - Supervise SUD Counselors and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and team collaboration. - Diagnose substance use disorders when within scope of licensure and contribute to individualized treatment plans. - Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including data collection and reporting support. - Support continuity of care, discharge planning, crisis response, and other assigned duties. Qualifications & Requirements Education - Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university. Experience - Experience providing SUD counseling required. - Experience in supervisory role preferred. How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner Telehealth provides remote medical care to inmate patients through a telemedicine platform in collaboration with physician staff and onsite healthcare teams. This role conducts history and physical visits and sick call clinics using telehealth technology with support from onsite presenters. The position coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while following established policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Care is delivered in a manner that supports efficient, high-quality, and compliant telehealth services. Key Responsibilities - Conduct telehealth evaluations including history and physicals and sick call visits in collaboration with physicians and onsite presenters. - Provide clinically appropriate assessments, treatment plans, and patient and staff education aligned with best practices and protocols. - Collaborate with onsite healthcare teams to prepare, conduct, and support efficient telehealth clinics. - Document all clinical findings accurately and timely in the electronic medical record while maintaining confidentiality. - Deliver remote care, participate in quality and peer review activities, and provide cross-coverage and clinical support as needed. Role Description The Registered Nurse Telehealth is responsible for remotely assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Regional Telehealth Nurse Manager and collaboration with local onsite staff, directs, guides, and assists with patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. - Provides telehealth support and guidance to onsite staff in the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs. - Implements clinical and technical aspects of care, intervenes with safety techniques and procedures, and supports the implementation of medical plans and diagnostic testing. - Assists the Health Care Practitioner as necessary to meet individual patient needs, including implementing nutrition and therapeutic diet plans. - Documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting in the telehealth platform and attends mandatory staff meetings and training. - Communicates information to nursing staff, physicians, and other staff members as necessary. Qualifications - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Requirements - Prefer a minimum of one (1) year correctional healthcare experience or a minimum of one (1) year clinical experience. - Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. - Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
