Senior HR Generalist

• Act as primary point of contact for business unit leaders in areas of partner experience, performance management, and engagement. • Support assigned business unit with talent selection process. • Help to onboard, develop, lead, and inspire new leaders to elevate our partner experience and impact business results; make recommendations to hire, advance, promote, or perform other changes of employment status for partners • Partner with business leaders to ensure a successful implementation of our Performance Management process (goal setting, quarterly check-ins, career development plans, merit, and incentives) • Provide guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, and development plans. • Support managers in addressing performance issues and fostering a high-performance culture. • Help maintain and support disciplinary action procedures and ensure understanding of compliance with applicable government laws and regulations. • Collaborate and provide counsel/guidance/recommendations to leaders to address and fully resolve partner concerns (be it related to ER, benefits, leaves, or other questions). • Engage in the talent selection process where deemed necessary. • Champion and implement change initiatives in partnership with HR and Field Leadership (compensation, policies) • Partner with HRBP team to identify opportunities and deliver training in support of strategic goals and team member development. • Assist HR Leadership with Talent Review and calibration process • Support Partners through troubleshooting or escalating Workday system errors, including one on one training to identify cause and solution • Review and approve requests for compensation and job changes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in employee relations and HR practices.
  • 5+ years of professional HR, partner development or leadership coaching experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • Must possess a very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Advanced knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, Workday HRIS experience a plus.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or other professional certification a plus
