We’re on the frontier of an entirely new category: Agentic AI. We enable enterprises to build high-performing hybrid workforces made up of both humans and AI agents. These AI agents aren’t generic copilots. They’re fully trained digital teammates that learn from your best people, your content, and your business strategy—ready to get to work from day one. Our platform combines generative AI, human-in-the-loop workflows, and a living Enterprise Skill Graph that continuously learns and improves. Whether you're launching a product globally, onboarding new hires, translating learning content, or aligning legal teams across regions, Smartcat turns knowledge into action and action into scale. Over 1,000 companies, including 20% of the Fortune 500, rely on Smartcat to bring their business to the world—instantly, accurately, and in every language. As a Series C company with 130% year-over-year growth, we’re scaling fast and investing in people who want to shape the future of work with us. Join us in unlocking global potential, one human and agent team at a time. WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN OUR TEAM: At Smartcat, you will join a high-impact Deal Desk function embedded within our Revenue Operations organization. We operate as a fully remote team that values ownership, precision, and continuous process improvement. In this role, you will serve as a critical checkpoint in the deal cycle—ensuring that deals are structured correctly, compliant with internal policies, and ready for booking. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps to remove friction from the closing process while maintaining high standards of data integrity and operational excellence. If you’re detail-oriented, systems-driven, and enjoy solving structured problems that directly impact revenue accuracy and deal velocity, this role offers a strong foundation to grow within Revenue Operations. MISSION: The mission of the Deal Desk Analyst is to ensure all closing deals are accurate, compliant, and operationally sound by performing system checks, validating deal structures, and supporting sales with technical deal management questions. You will act as a quality control layer across the deal cycle—ensuring pricing, product configuration, and contract data are correct before booking—while enabling Sales to move quickly and confidently through the closing process. Your success is measured by deal accuracy, reduction in booking errors, adherence to process SLAs, and overall support of efficient deal execution. OUTCOMES: What we’re looking for someone in this role to achieve: - Perform pre-close deal validation checks on late-stage opportunities (Commit/Best Case), ensuring pricing, discounting, and structure align with company policies. - Verify CRM and CPQ data accuracy, including opportunity fields, quote alignment, contract terms, and billing details. - Identify and flag deal risks, inconsistencies, or missing approvals before deals are finalized. - Act as first-line support for Sales on deal-related questions, including pricing thresholds, approval workflows, and deal structuring best practices. - Troubleshoot CRM/CPQ issues and guide reps in resolving system-related blockers to closing deals. - Ensure all required approvals (pricing, legal, finance) are properly routed, tracked, and completed in a timely manner. - Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene and data integrity to support accurate forecasting and revenue reporting. - Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting recurring deal issues and suggesting process or system enhancements. - Support reduction of deal cycle friction by proactively identifying bottlenecks in the approval and validation process. HOW YOU’LL RAMP: By Day 30… You will complete onboarding on Smartcat’s Language AI platform, CRM/CPQ systems, deal desk policies, and approval workflows. You’ll shadow deal reviews, learn common deal structures, and observe how pricing and approvals are managed. By the end of your first month, you will begin reviewing a small number of deals with guidance and performing basic validation checks. By Day 60… You will independently run deal validation checks for a defined set of opportunities. You’ll support Sales with common deal-related questions, ensure approval workflows are followed, and begin identifying common deal errors or inefficiencies. You are expected to meet SLAs for deal review turnaround and maintain high accuracy in CRM data. By Day 90… You will fully own deal desk support for your assigned scope, consistently validating deals with minimal oversight. You’ll proactively identify risks, reduce deal friction, and confidently guide Sales through deal structuring and approval processes. You’ll also contribute ideas to improve deal desk workflows, automation, and system usage. WHAT YOU’VE ACCOMPLISHED: Qualifications we’re looking for: - 0–2 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance Operations, or a similar analytical or process-driven role. - Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently execute structured processes with high accuracy. - Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and familiarity with deal or pipeline management concepts. - Clear and concise communication skills; able to explain processes and resolve questions from Sales stakeholders effectively. - Basic understanding of SaaS deal structures, pricing models, or contract terms (or strong willingness to learn quickly). - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot system or process-related issues. - Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple deals or requests simultaneously under time pressure. - Process-oriented and motivated to improve operational workflows and reduce inefficiencies. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote, cross-functional environment. Why joining Smartcat might be your best move so far - Fully remote team We are a global team of 200+ enthusiastic people spread across 30+ countries. We have been fully remote since 2020, with some locations populated with more Smartcaters than others, such as Boston, Belgrade, Lisbon, Tbilisi and Yerevan. - Be part of an AI Native Organization We are highly innovative, using AI across all areas of the organization to accelerate decision-making and free people to focus on strategy and high-impact work. We embrace new ideas and encourage all Smartcaters, regardless of level or department, to manage their own AI Agents. At Smartcat you’ll shape how AI transforms the workplace and play an integral role in ensuring Smartcat remains a leader in AI innovation. - Innovating a $100 Billion industry Smartcat is reshaping the $100B multilingual content industry with an AI-powered platform that makes it easy for companies to create, translate, and localize global content at scale. Our platform enables enterprise teams to move away from slow, traditional outsourcing methods, and achieve fast, high-quality results, at a fraction of the cost. - Join the rocketship to scale-up 10x and beyond together We are looking for someone to become an integral part of our team and play a crucial role in the most exciting part of our journey: transitioning from a post-Series C startup to a company exceeding $100M in ARR and $1B in valuation. Our journey isn’t for the faint of heart. We are growing at 130% YoY, thanks to our strong product-market fit and high-performing team, and plan to accelerate from here. - Smartcat Culture: Where Diversity Meets High Performance At Smartcat, we are committed to building a culture that highlights respect and appreciation for each individual's unique background and perspective, while maintaining a strong focus on results and engagement.
