• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers. • Build the design team from scratch, including hiring and onboarding new members. • Establish clear creative processes, workflows, and design standards. • Provide continuous feedback and support to help designers grow professionally. • Oversee production of high-performing marketing creatives and assets. • Ensure consistent quality and brand alignment across all outputs. • Contribute hands-on design work when needed. • Increase creative production speed by 2x through better Ai tools, systems, and workflows. • Transition the team from outdated tools to modern creative solutions. • Build scalable systems for creative production. • Implement AI-powered workflows, bulk creative generation, and automation tools. • Continuously optimize the creative pipeline to improve efficiency and output.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in a Design Lead or similar leadership role.
  • Strong experience creating performance marketing creatives.
  • Advanced skills in Figma, CapCut, After Effects, and Adobe Suite.
  • Proven ability to build, organize, and mentor a design team from scratch.
  • Experience using AI tools, automations, and bulk creative workflows.
  • Strong operational mindset - you optimize speed, quality, and output.

This person will work closely with leads, helping to craft our visions, as well as mentor junior talent. Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Senior Product Designer at R/GA: On any given day you might - Execute top quality design work in line with agency standards. - Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project. - Mentor Junior Designers. - Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications. - Work with Creative Directors and leads to ensure design work exceeds client expectations. - Explain and articulate design decisions and rationale with confidence. - Take an active part in client meetings and presentations. - Contribute to the creation and definition of flexible design systems and visual languages. - Design and iterate on user interfaces and experiences for websites, landing pages, microsites, digital products, and mobile apps. - Collaborate across teams to build scalable, attainable solutions. - Prototype interactive experiences that engage users and drive conversion. The ideal person - Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout. - Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients. - Must have experience with Figma and creating and maintaining large, usable libraries. - Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients. - Has outstanding presentation skills. - Demonstrates a strong portfolio in digital product and experience design, showcasing responsive, intuitive interfaces. - Has a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and interactive design trends. - Can mentor junior team members. You bring - 5+ years’ experience designing. - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education and experience. - Advanced command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. - Proficiency in English (Written & Verbal) - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Experience designing for digital platforms, including web and mobile applications; a proven track record in UX/UI is required. - Familiarity with front-end programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and hands-on experience in building websites and digital platforms is a strong bonus.
