Job Description

Part Time Bilingual Chat & Text Therapist

La Frontera EMPACT - Suicide Prevention Center

• Provide remote (from home) crisis chat & text interventions for chatters to the suicide hotline. • Make appropriate referrals for available services. • Answer all chats & texts in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. • Effectively assess clinical situations and needs of all chatters. • Provide safe and effective clinical interventions to all chatters. • Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately, including information critical to data collection and reporting to funders. • Forward internal referrals to the appropriate program(s) with all required information in a timely manner. • Work collaboratively with internal and external clients/customers. • Monitor call-in times for clients placed on a 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up. • Will be required to work beyond his/her shift with no advance warning if the crisis situation warrants or if required paperwork is not complete at the end of the shift. • Attend all required meetings and training courses, even if they fall outside of the regularly scheduled shift. • Assist the clinical coordinator in training new staff. • Attend in-person meetings, training, and agency activities and events outside of regularly scheduled work hours upon request.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a directly related field.
  • Crisis, call center and chat & text experience preferred
  • Experience in the mental/behavioral health field preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in stressful situations and collaborate/work in a team environment.
  • Spanish/English bilingual Needed.
  • A fingerprint clearance card is required or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of technology including chat & text functions.
  • Strong customer service
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to document detailed information
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.

Wraparound Care Coordinator Location: South Portland, ME Full time job requisition id JR100798 Job Description: Wraparound Care Coordinator Our High-Fidelity Wraparound program works with youth aged 12-20 with a diagnosed mental health disorder and/or developmental delay who are approved for this service through the 'Single Assessment' process. Wraparound provides comprehensive, holistic, youth and family-driven intensive case management services through the development of a team comprised of both professionals and natural supports. The Wraparound team seeks to support the family/youth in developing individualized goals so that they can maintain in their homes and communities and achieve their vision of a fulfilled life. The Wraparound Care Coordinator is a direct service staff position for the community services area. This position contributes to the accomplishment of the Agency’s mission throughcom the provision of home-based and community-based case management services to youth and families with a mental health diagnosis or developmental disability. This Care Coordinator attends monthly staff meetings and participates in weekly supervision with the designated supervisor. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, hourly position. Monday – Friday; some evening hours may be required. Location: Office is located in South Portland. Hybrid schedule; some in office and some remote work. *Ability to do some paperwork from home/remotely.
