• Lead the design, architecture, development, troubleshooting, and testing of scalable software features and components in an Agile environment • Drive modern UI architecture decisions including Micro frontend architecture and Module Federation implementations • Architect and implement reusable, modular, and independently deployable front-end applications • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to refine and prioritize requirements • Establish and enforce high-quality code standards, design patterns, and best practices • Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure scalability, performance, and security • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents • Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments • Promote performance optimization, accessibility (ADA), and responsive design best practices • Leverage AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-based code analysis, automated testing tools) to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity • Contribute to technical roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and long-term architectural strategy • Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and system integrations clearly and effectively

• Develop rich client web applications with JavaScript and libraries like AngularJS, React, jQuery and Bootstrap that utilize RESTful Java, Spring, Spring boot web services • Construct, comment, unit test, and end-to-end test user interface programs, modules and components of medium complexity • Work with and develop client programs, classes and sub-systems of medium complexity • Maintain and support existing user interface applications of medium complexity • Work with Business Analysts to ensure that technical design and programs satisfy business needs • Contribute to peer UI code evaluations • Implement quality assurance standards for development activities within assigned projects

• Lead the design and integration of SC1/Class 1E (safety-related) and SC2 and SC3 electrical systems, including Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution • Perform complex electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protective relay coordination using ETAP software using ANSI / IEC standards • Prepare electrical engineering deliverables such as Requirements Specifications, Electrical Load Lists, One-lines, Calculations, Schematics and 3-Line lines • Ensure deliverables are on-spec., on-budget, and on-schedule • Develop detailed procurement specifications for major components, including main transformers, switchgear, diesel generators, and UPS systems • Navigate regulatory requirements (CA-CNSC and US-NRC), support licensing processes, ensuring all designs meet nuclear-specific standards • Interface with transmission providers to manage Generator Interconnection Agreements and ensure grid stability compliance • Applications of codes and standards applicable to electrical systems design in the US and CA (e.g. IEEE, IEC, CSA and NEC); European Union (eg. IEC, EU)

• Design, build, and maintain production AI applications end-to-end: backend, frontend, and inference services. • Architect RAG systems using vector databases, embedding models, and chunking strategies optimised for accuracy and latency. • Build agentic workflows with tool/function calling, multi-step reasoning, and structured output parsing, with accuracy and control as priority. • Write and iterate on system prompts, few-shot examples, and prompt chains to maximise output quality. • Implement function calling, tool-use patterns, and structured JSON/XML output handling using frontier and lightweight models from providers like Anthropic and OpenAI. • Drive cost optimisation: model selection, caching, token budgeting, and request batching at scale. • Build and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, relevance, hallucination rates, and regression across prompt and model changes. Experience with observability tools (Sentry, Opik, etc.) is a must. • Work with message queues (RabbitMQ), caching layers (Redis), and relational databases (PostgreSQL) powering AI service backends. • Deploy and manage AI services on Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines on AWS/GCP. • Integrate AI capabilities with third-party platforms (Telegram bots, chat widgets, etc.). • Contribute to architectural decisions: model selection, hosting (cloud APIs vs. self-hosted), and build-vs-buy trade-offs.
