Customer Operations Manager

• The Customer Operation Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives • Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization • Manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise • Be involved in long-term planning and contribute to overall business strategy • Responsible for GE90 engine overhaul TAT and cost in GE90 offload shop for worldwide GE90 customers • Responsible for the fulfillment from engine removal to redelivery for assigned customer(s) • Participate in the operating rhythm between supply chain and offload shop • Own the MOR bowler chart critical actions on TAT, cost and quality • Integrate intelligent slot tracking and improve W2W by risk management and mitigation • Organize and support program and technical reviews with customer • Maintain the customer’s material picking rule and back to birth documentation database • Manage the material cost review and decision of scrapped parts salvage plan • Track and monitor the cost trend versus CMR budget for each engine shop visit • Drive the deep dive analysis to identify the gap and follow up the implement of improvement plan • Support the on-site Customer Operation Leader on analytics and commercial negotiations • Activate FLIGHT DECK for continuously improving operational processes and problem-solving issues
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in engineering
- 7+ years supply chain or operation experiences in a mechanical manufacturing shop
- At least 2+ years experience in shop cost, process improvement or customer interfacing role
- Strong communication and program management capability
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong influencing skills in a global environment
- Detail orientated and driving closure of actions
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English

Mission Edge operates on a hybrid model out of our Liberty Station, Point Loma office, a historic waterfront neighborhood packed with restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and more — the kind of place where you'll actually want to come into the office. What You Will Do: - Triage, respond, assign, follow up on and support requests from fiscally sponsored projects for HR, Accounting, and operational needs. - Support full cycle client relationship management (inquiry, application, onboarding, service fulfillment & check-ins, offboarding). - Spearhead client onboarding and lead systems trainings and new client orientation. - Leverage AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technology to identify inefficiencies and design intelligent systems that take repetitive tasks off the team's plate. - Develop and automate processes, data tracking, dashboards/reports, knowledge bases, and SOPs — experimenting, iterating, and scaling what works. - Ensure proper donor and full cycle grants management. - Track, balance, prioritize and fulfill multiple requests and tasks at a time. - Manage office and equipment inventories, order new supplies as needed. - Tidying up/organizing the office on a regular cadence. - Assist with local employee and client event and activity setup, supply ordering, inventory maintenance and preparation. - Other projects and duties, as necessary.
