Sales Development Representative, Strategic Partnerships – Entry-Level
Knowledge Anywhere
• Research and identify potential partners across markets • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) • Conduct initial discovery calls to assess partner fit and gather requirements • Support the Director of Strategic Partnerships with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and CRM updates • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and collateral to engage prospective partners • Track market trends, competitor moves, and partner activities to inform targeting strategies • Assist in building partner presentations, playbooks, and pipeline reports for leadership
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, partnerships, or a client-facing role (real estate, SaaS, or fintech a plus)
- Tech Savvy - comfort using and learning CRM tools and sales engagement platforms. Experience with HubSpot a plus.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- A proactive, curious mindset with the drive to hit and exceed outreach and pipeline goals
- Eagerness to learn partnership strategy and grow into a broader business development or partnership role
- General understanding of a sales process

Primary responsibility for Gordian Job Order Contracting Construction Account Manager is to provide support, training and service for Gordian's VA customers and contractors, while delivering Gordian's products and services centered around Job Order Contracting (JOC) in Virginia JOC is a procurement method and construction process that helps federal, state and local governments, schools, hospitals, higher education institutions and others maximize efficiency, optimize cost savings, and increase construction quality. Primary Responsibilities: •Provide direct support for Gordian’s business interests in VA in a collaborative team setting. •Prepare and maintain schedules of detailed activities to accomplish procurement objectives within a specified time period for clients •Implement and adhere to established Job Order Contracting procedures from project identification, assistance in overseeing the development and review of project scope of work, proposal review, ensuring contract compliance, through notice to proceed, and construction execution necessary to accomplish a specific objective for various Job Orders •Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications, with a depth of knowledge in conducting a comprehensive price proposal review as well as create and review detailed construction line item proposals •Ability to train contractors in Gordian software, client procedure and assist in client contract bidding •Ability to adhere to internal company processes and status updates in support of Regional Director and company-wide objectives •Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal team members to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget •Provide observations to the Regional Director on Gordian's customers and evolving market dynamics Preferred Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or comparable work experience •3-5 years of construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting related experience •Extensive knowledge and experience in commercial public construction operations, pricing and contracting, including scope development and estimating/price proposal development •High level analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage several projects in development and in the field simultaneously •Excellent customer service and communication skills, strong interpersonal and team building skills, flexibility, strategic thinking, problem solving skills, goal driven, client obsessed, ability to deliver results, meets client and company deadlines, time management skills, self-motivated, works well independently and in a group dynamic. Core Responsibilities - Drive growth for the business that results in the delivery of the goal - Outline a business action plan that prioritizes key DED accounts and associated ECPs to allocate time and resources to drive growth - Develop comprehensive near-term account plans to unlock growth potential across priority accounts and associated ECP targets - Employ a data-driven approach, considering the market opportunity, VEVYE performance, account performance, market dynamics, and customer insights to inform strategic pivots and real-time business adjustments - Engage Target accounts and ECPs by delivering clinical differentiating VEVYE that encourages earlier utilization, increases brand loyalty, and establishes a new growth trajectory - Clear understanding of Account and ECP adoption and the vital role of clinical and non-clinical selling - Serve as the central point (QB) of coordination for Target accounts across a defined geography, including multi‑site or system‑based customers - Provide strategic guidance and support to sales partners on complex accounts, system‑level opportunities, and challenging access environments - Effectively document account strategies, activities, insights, and coordinated actions in CRM systems in a timely and accurate manner - Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry codes of practice, and state and federal regulations Qualifications & Requirements - 5-7 years of ophthalmic pharmaceutical experience - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant business training a plus - Proven track record of sales success in dry eye, anterior segment, or broader ophthalmic/specialty pharmaceutical environments - Proven success in engaging at multiple levels within accounts, including senior clinical, administrative, and non‑clinical stakeholders - Demonstrate strong business acumen and executive presence in all internal and external interactions - Strong strategic thinking skills with experience developing and executing short‑ and long‑term account plans - Ability to influence cross‑functional partners and drive alignment without direct authority - Experience navigating payer, access, and reimbursement environments to support pull‑through and sustained account growth - Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills - High level of autonomy, initiative, and adaptability in a dynamic market environment - Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Willingness and ability to travel extensively, 70-80%, including overnight stays Position Type - Remote Travel - Up to 70-80%
