Job Title: Human Resources Intern Effective Date: Summer 2026 Division: CEO Department: Human Resources Reports to: Sr. HR Ops Analyst Direct Reports: NO Location: Houston, TX / Remote Travel: 10% POSITION PURPOSE: The role provides hands-on support across payroll, HRIS (BambooHR), benefits administration, and general HR operations, while assisting with data accuracy, documentation, onboarding/offboarding, and process improvement initiatives. This position also supports HR SharePoint organization and collaborates closely with the HR team on administrative and ad hoc projects while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Payroll Support: - Assist with the preparation of bi‑weekly payroll data. - Review timekeeping records for completion. - HRIS (BambooHR) Administration: - Help maintain accurate employee data within BambooHR. - Assist with organizational updates such as job changes, reporting structures, and employee records. - Support data quality projects and system clean‑up tasks. - SharePoint Organization: - Support the maintenance and reorganization of HR SharePoint folders and file structures. - Ensure HR files are properly archived and easily accessible. - Benefits Administration Support: - Assist with new hire benefits enrollment tasks. - Support open enrollment preparation and documentation. - General HR Operations: - Support onboarding and offboarding processes as needed. - Assist with HR documentation, reporting, and compliance tasks. - Participate in process improvement efforts across HR functions. - Collaborate with the HR team on ad‑hoc projects and administrative tasks. - All other duties as required WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS: - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Must be an active student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity. - Comfortable working in HR systems and learning new technologies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint preferred). - Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
