Chief Financial Officer – OTE $375,000/year USD

CXT Software

• Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and address key business opportunities and risks and develop the internal processes, controls and platforms to drive scalable growth across functions. • Shape our strategic direction by providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market trends. • Drive long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. • Represent CXT in front of investors, lenders, and potential partners and acquirors, showcasing our financial health, operational excellence, and strategic plans. • Lead critical M&A activities, from due diligence to integration planning and execution. • Collaborate with legal, operations, and third-party advisors to execute successful transactions. • Lead the financial integration of acquisitions, including systems alignment, reporting, and synergy tracking. • Prepare the company for future strategic transactions, including exit readiness and diligence processes. • Prepare and present financial performance and strategic insights to the Board. • Implement scalable finance processes and platforms that consolidate legacy systems, streamline decision making and execution, and facilitate integration of new acquisitions and product lines. • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and processes, developing controls and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company interests. • Lead budgeting, board, and monthly reporting cycles, working closely with other leaders to provide constant visibility into current and expected performance. • Own key SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, retention, CAC/LTV, and unit economics, partnering closely with Revenue Operations to drive data-driven decision making.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of total finance experience
  • 5+ years in a software company, as a CFO or SVP/VP of Finance
  • 5+ years in a commercial business organization, as a Controller/VP Finance
  • 4+ years in a recognized accounting firm, preferably Big 4 (training through accounting and audit engagements) or as a business consultant or investment banker
  • Proven leadership in driving cross-functional change or transformation
  • Experience in leading initial and subsequent financial audits
  • Experience in M&A diligence, structuring and/or integration activities.
  • Experience working with SaaS companies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English
