Account & Business Development Manager – ASEAN

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities and develop the partners network within the designated territory • Nurture and expand relationships with an existing portfolio of key accounts and partners • Develop and manage the network of partners across the ASEAN region • Develop and execute a sales strategy and action plan to achieve sales targets • Lead contract negotiations, prepare proposals, and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and legal compliance • Serve as the regional expert, monitor market trends, and customer needs to inform product and sales strategies • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline information, activities, and forecasts in the CRM system
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5 years or more in a similar role, ideally in automation, robotics or related industrial technology sector
- Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency in Malay, Vietnamese or Mandarin is a significant advantage for daily client communication
- Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for B2B executives
- Proficient user of CRM software for pipeline management and accurate forecasting
- Proven success in managing and growing relationships with large industrial customers
- Technical knowledge of robots or automation systems
- Proven understanding of the ASEAN business environment and cultural nuances is highly desirable
- Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote setting

Why You'll Love This Job You will be a key member of our enterprise territory development team, speaking directly with superintendents, communication directors, chief technology officers, and other decision-makers within schools. Given the remote nature of this role, you will also be considered the “face” of Apptegy in your region/territory and be an advocate responsible for building credibility, providing value to potential clients, and, ultimately, helping close deals to grow Apptegy. Our core product, Foundations, enables schools across the U.S. to communicate, share stories, and build a strong brand. What You'll Do - Source new opportunities through onsite visits, re-visit to push conversations forward, and attend presentations, etc.; this requires frequent cold drop-ins locally per week. - Attend conferences, conduct focus groups, and lead presentations to engage school leaders in conversations; this requires frequent travel amounting to on average 8-12 overnight stays away from home per month. - Have continuous follow-up with prospects from the different events attended to close deals. - Work closely with enterprise sales reps, sales engineers, and sales leadership; help enterprise sales reps lead virtual product demos including discovery, value demonstrations, proposal delivery, RFPs, and deal close.
