Job Description

Data Architect

Windhoff Group

• You speak with client business units and management, structure requirements and translate them into an initial architectural understanding. • You work on designing modern, scalable, and future-proof data platforms. • You and your team act as sparring partners for clients, advise on selecting suitable technologies and support integration into the existing IT landscape (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or SAP Datasphere). • Together with your colleagues you develop and orchestrate data products and learn how good modeling, quality, and governance really work. • Over the course of your work you define the necessary governance, processes, and architecture guidelines as a blueprint for later implementation. • If you wish, you can gradually specialize more in the areas of Data Governance or Architecture.

Job Requirements

  • Ideally you have initial experience (approx. 2–3 years) in the architectural design and implementation of Data & Analytics solutions in the cloud.
  • You have already worked with at least one of the platforms SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP Datasphere), Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
  • You bring a basic understanding of data modeling (3NF, Data Vault, Star Schema) or data architectures (from your studies or project work).
  • You are interested in the development and delivery of data products and enjoy embedding product- and data-driven thinking within organizations.
  • You think analytically, act independently, and communicate confidently with colleagues and clients.
  • Fluent German and good English skills complete your profile.

Benefits

  • We hire regardless of location.
  • Depending on the project, you can work 100% from home or at one of our offices.
  • For occasional client meetings and team events you travel from your home base.
  • 130 Data & Analytics consultants for exchange and an internal training academy.
  • Long-term projects with changing technological challenges.
  • An attractive, project-independent salary and participation in the company’s success.
  • A dedicated budget for training opportunities as well as personal and professional development prospects.
  • A good work–life balance through flexible working hours, overtime compensation, and up to 40 days of vacation.
  • Top-tier hardware and software equipment, plus leasing options for company cars, IT hardware, and bicycles.
  • Short decision-making paths within the company, a fair working environment, and entertaining team events.
