• Build and scale Deel's partner ecosystem in Japan across referral, reseller, white-label, and distribution channels • Lead partner recruitment, onboarding, and enablement to drive pipeline and revenue contribution • Operate across all levels of partnership engagement — from tactical execution to strategic planning — as the ecosystem matures • Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, customer success, and leadership to ensure alignment across all partner activity • Deliver measurable early impact while establishing the foundation for sustainable, long-term partnership growth

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in software or technology, ideally within a high-growth or scaling environment
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple partner motions including referral, reseller, white-label, and distribution
  • Strong knowledge of HR, payroll, or adjacent markets
  • An established network within the Japanese partner ecosystem, with the ability to accelerate partner recruitment and early pipeline generation
  • The ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and maintain a consistent focus on outcomes

Role in a Nutshell The Strategic Account Manager (AM) role is focused on owning, retaining, and expanding a defined book of strategic executive through structured farming, deep customer engagement, and long-term value creation. You will work with complex, global accounts within engineering-led organizations, partnering closely with internal teams to unlock expansion opportunities across usage, teams, and product lines.
