Job Description

Digital Visibility & Engagement Manager

ApprovalMax

About ApprovalMax: ApprovalMax is a product-led B2B SaaS company in accounts-payable automation, integrating with Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Oracle NetSuite. We help finance teams across 80+ countries replace manual approvals with automated, auditable processes. The marketing team is lean, ambitious, and AI-forward. We ship fast and punch above our weight. The Role: We're hiring a Digital Visibility & Engagement Manager to make ApprovalMax discoverable and keep our audience engaged. This is a hybrid role spanning two areas: Visibility (~40%): You'll own our organic and AI search presence. We've built AI-powered automation that handles the repetitive side of SEO, so your job is mostly the strategic layer: deciding which keywords to pursue, how to structure content, when to act on ranking changes, and managing the relationship-based work like outreach and follow-ups. You'll also lead our approach to emerging channels like AI-generated search results. Engagement (~60%): You'll own the prospect experience from first touch to trial signup. That means shaping user journeys on our website, optimising conversion paths for different visitor segments, running our prospect newsletter, building nurture journeys in HubSpot, and growing a community for finance professionals. You'll use behavioural data to identify friction points and drive UX improvements alongside our Website & Marketing Ops Manager and design team. Think of it as: you make sure people find us, then you make sure the website and nurture experience converts them. AI isn't a nice-to-have in this role, it's how you operate. You'll use AI tools daily to generate briefs, draft content, review articles, and pull reports. We provide the tools and the freedom to experiment. If you’re the kind of person who already uses Claude or ChatGPT to accelerate your work, you’ll fit right in. You’ll work closely with the Director of Digital & Demand Generation, the Website & Marketing Ops Manager, the Growth Marketing Manager, and collaborate with Product Marketing, Content, Events, and Design across the wider marketing team. What we’re looking for: Must-Haves - 2–4 years experience across SEO (with link-building outreach). Understands SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimisation, content optimisation) - 2-4 years experience across digital marketing, email marketing and website/UX optimisation - Experience with HubSpot: email builds, nurture workflows, segmentation, reporting - Experience thinking about user journeys and website experience, you notice when a page isn’t working and can articulate why - You’re a good writer with editorial instinct (can curate, edit, and shape a content voice) - Comfortable with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and AI tools as daily enablers - Analytical mindset: you read dashboards, uses behavioural data (Clarity, Hotjar), spot trends, make data-backed recommendations - You’re a self-starter who can manage their own task board and hit deadlines - You have fluent English (written and spoken) Nice-to-Haves - Hands-on experience with behavioural tools (Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, PostHog) - Experience with GEO/AEO or LLM-focused visibility strategies - Familiarity with schema markup (JSON-LD) and structured data testing - Experience running newsletters or building digital communities - B2B SaaS or fintech marketing experience - Familiarity with ClickUp or similar marketing/project management tools - Interest in accounting, finance processes, or AP automation What we offer - Regular performance-based compensation reviews - 26 days PTO + birthday off - Remote office assistance - Service years recognition financial reward - Growing international business with 10,000+ subscribers
