What We’re Looking For: The Post Producer supports the successful completion of video content across multiple product lines by coordinating projects through established production and post production workflows. This role works closely with 2U Media Production, Media Operations, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to help ensure media deliverables are completed on time and meet established quality standards. The role combines logistical coordination and editorial awareness, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Post Producer helps track project milestones, coordinate editing workflows, and support quality control processes throughout post production. A successful Post Producer is a collaborative team member who communicates clearly across teams, demonstrates sound judgment when resolving issues, and maintains a strong focus on delivering high quality media content for our university partners. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: - Serve as a liaison between media production teams and external post production vendors to support the execution of post production tasks and ensure clear communication of timelines, requirements and deliverables. - Coordinate post production activities for assigned projects, including maintaining post production calendars, tracking milestones, and flagging delays. - Support editorial and technical quality control by reviewing content during Video Quality Assurance (VQA), communicating feedback to editors, and ensuring media assets meet program and production standards. Some light editing may be required. - Assist with the final delivery of media assets, ensuring files are properly prepared, reviewed, and delivered according to established standards and timelines. - Collaborate with team members, support post production planning and contribute to ongoing workflow improvements. Things That Should Be In Your Background: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Video/Film Production, or a related field, with 3+ years of professional experience in video/digital media post production and familiarity with end-to-end media workflows.. - Working knowledge of file based production and post production processes, including common formats, codecs, frame rates, and aspect ratios. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. - Experience working with media asset management systems and project tracking tools (e.g., AHA!, Jira) and comfort using collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Slack. - Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
