Program Manager
Presidio
• Manage assigned programs across all phases of the Solution development lifecycle, from ideation through development, enablement and launch, and ensuring active inspection of targets • Define, manage, and control program scope and integrated plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and timely delivery across workstreams • Proactively manage scope and schedule changes, driving rapid course correction to prevent misalignment or uncontrolled expansion • Monitor milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities to maintain delivery momentum • Facilitate agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release coordination for technical programs or teams where applicable • Lead stakeholder communications and reporting aligned to PMO standards, fostering strong relationships (direct or cross practice) that promote accountability and shared ownership of results • Maintain executive-level visibility into program status, risks, financial health, procurement impacts, and performance metrics • Proactively identify and surface program risks, interdependencies, conflicts and downstream impacts early – driving alignment and mitigation before issues materialize • Escalate risks and issues with clarity and context to Presidio leadership, leading resolution efforts to minimize delivery impact • Develop and implement mitigation strategies while maintaining focus on program objectives • Define program success metrics per Portfolio Tiered requirements and ensure measurable tracking of outcomes against defined objectives • Ensure governance cadences, documentation, and controls align to PMO standards • Drive continuous improvement through collecting Lessons Learned and sharing process improvement recommendations to Portfolio Team • For programs with an assigned budget, track and report on financial health and performance against approved budgets, forecasting variances in alignment with portfolio requirements • Ensure cost impacts of scope, schedule, risk, and procurement decisions are clearly understood and communicated to leadership to support informed decision-making
Job Requirements
- 4–6 years of program or project management experience in technology environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
- Deep knowledge and practical application of project management frameworks (PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) across diverse technology domains; PMP, Agile, or similar certification preferred
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, and Zoho is a plus
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills and demonstrated ability to influence across organizational levels.
