Federato
• Responsible for enhancing Federato's flagship Underwriting Platform. • Own the roadmap of the underwriting platform and actively seek opportunities to expand the capabilities and enhance the user experience. • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the product portfolio to internal and external stakeholders. • Develop a deep understanding of the insurance market, including its key players, challenges, trends, and competitive landscape. • Collaborate on user research activities to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows. • Lead product discovery efforts to identify and validate user problems and needs. • Define and track key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to align on product strategy, design direction, and go-to-market plans. • Define and champion the product vision and strategy for the product, aligning it with the overall company vision and financial objectives.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering successful SaaS products to market, preferably in B2B settings. Experience with AI-powered solutions is a plus.
- Broad business acumen across industries and business models, with the ability to understand market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and financial implications of product decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams. Ability to serve as a sounding board for technical discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.
- A passion for creating exceptional products that solve important user problems with an ability to form a big-picture strategy and a willingness to be granular in detail and do hands-on work as needed.
- BA/BS degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
- MBA and experience working in the insurance or financial industry are pluses.
