Job Description Develops profitable business account relationships and increased profitability from existing and new accounts. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. Makes sales presentations to existing and/or prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience - Ability to travel (local and regional, some national) Preferred Skills/Experience - Prior experience in business card sales/payments - Strong sales and new business development skills, with demonstrated ability to prospect new logo opportunities, conduct curious and consultative discovery, and drive deals from strategy through close - Experience working with mid‑size to large businesses, including clients with $10MM+ in annual revenue - Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills, with understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions - Proven success developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities - Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline activity with strong follow‑up and execution discipline - Solid knowledge of payment products, with general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations - Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision‑making, and creative problem resolution - Demonstrated ability to partner with internal teams to grow and retain existing portfolio customers - Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage leads, activities, and sales performance If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants. Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
