Location Designation: Fully Remote Position Summary: The Senior Associate will serve as a key contributor in the development and enhancement of actuarial models using Prophet. This role requires advanced technical expertise, independent problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust modeling solutions. The individual will collaborate across functions and play a significant role in model governance, financial reporting, and process improvement. What You'll Do:• Independently develop, enhance, and maintain Prophet actuarial models for valuation, projections, and scenario analysis• Interpret business and regulatory requirements and translate them into model design and implementation• Perform complex model testing, validation, and documentation in accordance with model governance standards• Analyze model outputs and provide actionable insights to support financial reporting and business decisions• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and IT partners to implement model changes and improve end-to-end processes• Identify and lead initiatives to improve model efficiency, automation, and controls• Apply advanced actuarial judgment in assumption setting, experience studies, and sensitivity testing• Serve as a technical resource to junior team members; may provide guidance and informal mentorship• Contribute to cross-functional projects and support audits, regulatory reviews, and model governance activities What You'll Bring:• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field• ASA (or near ASA) strongly preferred; progress toward FSA is a plus• 6+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in life insurance or annuities• Strong hands-on experience with Prophet modeling software (required)• Advanced Excel skills; experience with VBA, SQL, Python, or similar tools preferred Pay Transparency Salary Range: $111,500-$159,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
