In short, as an Auto Claims Manager you will be responsible for leading your team in adjudicating claims in a timely manner. Supporting your team to achieve performance goals and improve their skill set through ongoing development. In long, our Auto Claims Managers are responsible for: - Monitor team performance and trends to identify opportunities for improvement at a contributor level. - Provide coaching, training, and development to team members to meet or exceed performance goals. - Drive department-wide initiatives, gaining buy-in from direct and indirect reports to maximize impact, and contribute to meeting or exceeding department goals. - Responsible for managing their direct report’s timecards, PTO requests, schedule adherence, and performance and development plans. - Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (The Good Stuff) Must have a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures, parts pricing, labor guides, and repair shop procedures/practices. - Ability to connect with and lead team members remotely to achieve performance results. - Knowledge of call center operations and reporting. - Skilled in written and verbal communications, time management and meeting deadlines. - Is proficient in typing and general computer skills. - Must be solution oriented. Requirements (a.k.a. What You Need to Get the Job Done) - High-school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - 3+ years of experience with current automotive mechanical and diagnostics. - 3+ years of leadership experience So What About the Perks?
