Summary At Chobani, our sales team is the face of the brand and a driving force behind our growth. We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in K-12 sales. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who thrives on building operator relationships and driving product placements. With up to 50% travel, you’ll play a critical role in expanding Chobani’s presence in the K-12 segment. The candidate will report to the Sr. National Account Manager – Education. Responsibilities - Manage a portfolio of K-12 accounts, focusing on the top 25 school districts and co-ops, ensuring execution of sales plans and achievement of assigned case volume targets. - Responsible for RFPs (direct, indirect, and USDA). Participate in and maintain a presence at industry events. - Conduct operator presentations, product cuttings, and sampling events that showcase Chobani’s category leadership. - Deliver insights related to market trends, customer needs, and category opportunities to help shape future strategy. - Partner internally with cross-functional teams to maximize results. - Provide consistent reporting on team performance and individual KPI attainment. Requirements - 3–5 years of foodservice sales experience required, with preference for candidates who have successfully sold into the K-12 segment. - Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Proven ability to exceed sales targets in a territory management role. - Strong knowledge of RFPs within the K-12 foodservice sector. - Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills. - Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to meet customers and manage territory needs. - Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. - Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a personal vehicle for work-related travel. The salary range for this full-time position is $85,000.00 - $134,200.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
