Welcome to INNIO! The Service Sales Manager is responsible for driving aftermarket service sales and managing the installed base of Waukesha gas engines within the assigned region. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the long-term reliability and performance of the installed fleet. The Service Sales Manager acts as the primary interface between customers and the company for all service-related matters, supporting business growth and customer satisfaction. What you’ll do: - Develop and implement sales strategies for spare parts, upgrades, and all other service revenue streams for Waukesha gas engines. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the service portfolio and customer base. - Manage the installed base of Waukesha engines, maintaining accurate records of engine population, service history, and contract status. - Proactively analyze the installed base to identify service needs, upgrade opportunities, and lifecycle extension projects. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, understanding their operational needs and providing technical and commercial support. - Conduct regular customer visits and site assessments to ensure customer satisfaction and identify potential service improvements. - Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals. - Collaborate closely with internal teams (service, engineering, operations, supply chain) to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. - Achieve and exceed sales targets, reporting regularly on sales performance, market developments, and customer feedback. - Support the forecasting and planning of service activities based on installed base data and customer requirements. - Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical business practices. What you’ll have: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or service management, preferably in industrial engines, power generation, or related services. - Strong technical understanding of gas engines, with preference for experience with Waukesha products. - Proven track record in managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret installed base data. - Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. - Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
