Job Description

Information and Communications Technology Engineer – ICT

Ehvert Mission Critical

• Designing and coordinating ICT and low-voltage systems including structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security systems • Using BIM tools to model and coordinate ICT systems with other engineering disciplines using tools such as Autodesk Revit – is a must • Developing a thorough understanding and delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule • Determining and expediting the engineering deliverables for projects • Developing and maintaining project scope of work documentation and revisions during design development • Preparing engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation for ICT infrastructure • Preparing technical documentation required for project execution including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets • Reviewing shop drawings and contractor submittals • Producing models and drawings using BIM and CAD modeling tools • Supporting coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project development and execution

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related field
  • Proven expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer
  • Written and spoken English B1 and higher
  • Experience in ICT design including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems
  • Experience designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities
  • Experience using BIM modeling tools and design software
  • Hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit – is a must
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
  • Understanding of telecommunications standards and low-voltage system codes
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting project deadlines
  • Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Excellent communication skills
