Senior Staff macOS/iOS Developer – Networking
Zscaler
• Develop high-performance MAC and iOS applications and frameworks that serve as the gateway to our global cloud security platform • Partner with product managers to translate complex requirements and design mockups into clean, high-quality code • Take accountability for the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications to ensure a seamless user experience • Uphold and evolve engineering excellence by maintaining rigorous code quality, standards, and automation practices • Act as a technical point of escalation to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues with speed and precision
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Objective C, SWIFT, or C++
- Deep technical understanding of the Mac networking stack, networking protocols, and modern architectural design patterns
- Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning
- Extensive knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the standard libraries used for common engineering tasks
- Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
