CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Training Manager position for our client. Location: San Mateo, CADuration: 12 months Duties: - Lead the training strategy and execution for Phase 2 Epic implementation, including upgrades, new modules, and optimization initiatives - Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps related to new workflows and system changes - Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and simulation environments - Manage and mentor a team of credentialed trainers and instructional designers - Coordinate training schedules, logistics, and resource allocation across multiple departments and user groups - Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure training aligns with real-world workflows and regulatory requirements - Ensure training environments (e.g., playground, practice environments) are properly built, maintained, and reflect Phase 2 changes - Monitor training effectiveness through evaluations, competency assessments, and user feedback; adjust strategies accordingly - Support go-live readiness activities, including end-user support planning, super user engagement, and command center coordination - Collaborate with change management and communications teams to reinforce adoption and engagement strategies - Maintain compliance with Epic training standards and organizational policies Skills: - Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies - Demonstrated ability to manage complex training programs across multiple workstreams - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders - Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills Experience: - 5+ years of experience leading Epic training programs, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role - Experience supporting Epic implementations, specifically expansion or Phase 2 efforts - Experience managing training teams, schedules, and enterprise-wide training initiatives - Proven track record of driving user adoption and training effectiveness in healthcare IT environments Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Education, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred) - Associate’s Degree/College Diploma considered with relevant experience - Epic credential(s) or certification(s) preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
