At Hudl, we build great teams. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces. We think of ourselves as the team behind the team, supporting the lifelong impact sports can have: the lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring coaches; and the opportunities to reach new heights. That’s why we help teams from all over the world see their game differently. Our products make it easier for coaches and athletes at any level to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and more. Ready to join us? Your Role We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and/or engineering managers focused on our Fan and Club products. You'll lead the teams that power millions of tickets sold, millions of livestreaming hours, and Club sports programs and high school athletic departments nationwide. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, technical leadership, and management expertise to drive our mission forward. As a Senior Engineering Manager at Hudl, you will: - Lead Division-Level Strategy: Shape and drive the strategy for your division, ensuring alignment with Hudl’s overall vision. Your strategic insights will help set the direction for multiple teams and ensure we stay ahead in the market. - Manage and Develop Leaders: Foster a strong management culture by leading and mentoring Engineering Managers. You’ll be responsible for developing leadership capabilities, promoting best practices, and ensuring high performance across your division. - Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with leaders from various disciplines to plan and deliver enhancements across your product suite. Your ability to integrate diverse perspectives will be key to driving innovation and ensuring our products meet the highest standards. - Drive Technical Excellence: Serve as a technical leader, guiding your teams in the development of robust, scalable solutions on the cloud. Your deep technical knowledge will be crucial in solving complex challenges and driving engineering excellence. - Champion Agentic/AI Engineering Practices: Drive acceleration of our software development lifecycle via impactful adoption of AI development tooling and patterns. We're investing heavily in the best tools available to dramatically increase how quickly we're able to get our products in the hands of customers. We'd like to hire someone for this role who lives near our offices in Lincoln, Omaha or Lexington, but we're also open to remote candidates in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin, Dallas or Phoenix. Must-Haves - Experienced. You’ve worked on cloud technology and have built highly scalable software solutions, and you have a proven track record of scaling efficiently and handling large volumes of data. - Strategic. You know how to set technical direction and guide your team towards successful project outcomes. You can ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals by facilitating design sessions, creating architectural diagrams, and evaluating risks in our software and processes. - A mentor. You can support the professional development of your team members through confidence-building, sharing knowledge and providing guidance. - Excellent communication skills. Your ability to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively with various stakeholders will be crucial in driving cross-functional projects. Nice-to-Haves - Formal managerial experience. Skills like career coaching and performance management will enhance your ability to succeed as an Engineering Manager at Hudl. - Professional background in relevant technologies. Experience with C#, React, React-Native, MongoDB and AWS are a plus. Familiarity with adjacent languages, frameworks and services used at scale is also valuable. - Experience in product partnership. A proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers to shape and solidify the team’s roadmap will be an asset. Our Role - Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too. - Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas. - Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing. - Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work. - Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered. - Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits. - Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution. Compensation The base salary range for this role is displayed below—starting salaries will typically fall near the middle of this range. We make compensation decisions based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices. This role will also be eligible for a long-term incentive (LTI) award. Any bonuses awarded are based on individual and company performance paid at Hudl's discretion. Base Salary Range $159,000—$265,000 USD Inclusion at Hudl Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we’ll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong. We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports. We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you. Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of? At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system. To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems. Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be. While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported. We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Identity Frontend Pod — the horizontal frontend platform team that powers the identity layer across all of Coinbase. This team owns the most visible, highest-traffic user experiences at Coinbase: every login, sign-up, account settings interaction, and security flow that millions of customers touch daily. You'll lead frontend engineers building and operating Unified Login, Account Management, and the suite of shared component libraries — including 2FA, passkeys, bot detection, and navigation — used across Coinbase's web and mobile platforms. This role is for someone who cares deeply about both engineering craft and user experience, and who can lead a high-performing team working at the intersection of security, performance, and product quality. You'll partner closely with your Tech Lead and Product Manager, coordinate across backend identity teams, and drive execution on the team's major initiatives: mobile performance, account management modernization, organizational interfaces, and testing infrastructure. What you'll be doing: - Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers across web and mobile, partnering closely with your Tech Lead and Product Manager to set direction and drive execution. - Own the team's major initiatives: improving mobile sign-in performance, rolling out transfer protections and new security features, and building frontend interfaces for multi-entity organizational account management. - Coordinate across backend identity teams and multiple product groups to unblock dependencies, resolve ambiguity, and keep the team shipping at high velocity. - Uphold reliability and quality standards for production apps used by millions of customers — including on-call health, deployment rigor, and rapid incident resolution. - Drive improvements to testing infrastructure, enabling continuous deployment and high test coverage across critical user flows. - Partner with Talent to identify, attract, and hire exceptional frontend engineers — and invest in coaching, development, and retention to build a world-class team. - Represent the team to internal partners in Security, Design, Product, and backend Identity teams — building alignment and ensuring seamless integration support. What we look for in you: - 5+ years of engineering management experience, ideally leading frontend or full-stack product teams. - Strong technical fluency in modern frontend development — React, React Native, TypeScript, testing infrastructure, and web performance optimization. - A track record of shipping high-quality, high-traffic user experiences at scale — you sweat the details on quality and user experience, not just delivery speed. - Experience managing cross-functional dependencies and coordinating across backend, design, and product teams to keep complex initiatives moving. - Strong communication skills — able to build alignment across teams, represent your team to leadership, and translate product vision into technical execution. - Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality. Nice to haves: - Background in identity, authentication, or security-facing user experiences. - Experience building mobile-first or hybrid web/native experiences at scale. - Familiarity with passkeys, WebAuthn, OAuth, or modern authentication protocols.
