Responsibilities What You'll Do - - This position is responsible for working with multiple IT departments to consolidate, analyze, and communicate the department’s current and projected IT spend. This includes reviewing complex IT contracts and actual spend to determine if the funds utilized are allocated correctly and recommend solutions to utilize costs more efficiently to maximize the department’s support while staying within budget guidelines. The job duties also include managing purchase requests, submitting purchase requisitions into multiple ERPs, and completing project appropriation requests. Key Responsibilities: - - Support the team maintaining excel models to facilitate effective financial analyses budget, actual and forecast, at portfolio level for IT organizational team. - Track and analyzes expenses and establish metrics to develop uniform solutions and process improvements across various projects within the IT portfolio. - Drive consistency in financial analysis processes by proposing best practices across multiple budgets and projects. - Establish and maintain coordination across various functions within IT organization to perform Project Control tasks. - Establish and maintain a uniform and a central filing system of all deliverables supporting IT. - Reviews and understands contractual requirements for all projects and programs supported. - Create purchase requisitions & work order data consolidation and track invoicing from various systems in use, i.e. SAP ECC, IFS, Concur. - Examine and analyze cost data relevant to labor, materials, supplies, parts, equipment, and other expenditures to assist leadership in making decisions. - Prepare and support pricing evaluations for various IT BIDs for goods, supplies and services. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Education: - Associate degree in finance, business administration, or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. - One (1) year experience in Finance, Project Management and/or federal government contracting may be substituted for one year of education if degree is in a non-related field. - Experience: - Minimum of five (5) years' of business experience. - Experience in procurement process required. Desired Qualifications: - Experience: - Minimum of five (5) years' of business experience in Project Controls, Financial Reporting or Contracts Administration in and IT Services environment preferred. - Experience with Applications, IT Infrastructure cost tracking a plus.
